Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction 3 Gets Major Filming Update After 3-Year Wait

There is finally good news for Extraction fans.

After nearly three years of silence, Extraction 3 is set to begin filming in June. Production is expected to run until 9 October.

Chris Hemsworth will return as Tyler Rake. This time, filming will take place in Sydney, Australia. Some scenes are also expected to be shot in Europe later in the summer.

Director Sam Hargrave is coming back for the third film. The Russo Brothers will return as producers, and Joe Russo is expected to write the script.

The sequel was first announced in June 2023. Since then, updates have been limited.

The first two Extraction movies were major hits for Netflix. The streaming service has also expanded the franchise with a spin-off series called Mercenary: An Extraction Series. The show will star Omar Sy and focus on a new mission set in Libya.

Extraction 3 does not yet have a release date.

Alibaba CEO Takes Direct Control of New AI Division

Alibaba is reshaping its business to make more money from artificial intelligence.

The Chinese tech giant is creating a new unit called Alibaba Token Hub. The division will bring together its AI research team, consumer apps, and major AI products under one group.

CEO Eddie Wu will lead the new unit himself.

The move combines the team behind Alibaba’s Qwen AI models, the DingTalk workplace app, and Quark smart devices like smart glasses. The goal is to improve teamwork and speed up product development.

The name “Token Hub” highlights Alibaba’s focus on monetising AI. Tokens are the computing units companies charge customers for when they use AI services.

Chinese AI firms have struggled to turn AI into strong profits. Many models in China are free and open-source. Consumers are also less willing to pay for subscriptions compared to users in the US.

Alibaba is expected to launch a new AI agent tool for businesses soon. The tool will be based on its Qwen model and designed for enterprise users. It may also connect with Taobao and Alipay in the future.

The revamp comes shortly after the surprise exit of Qwen’s lead researcher, which raised concerns about Alibaba’s AI direction.

Alibaba has pledged over $53 billion for AI development. The company is now making it clear that turning AI into profit is its top priority.

Apple Quietly Launches AirPods Max 2 With Major New Features

Apple has officially revealed AirPods Max 2.

The new over-ear headphones come with Apple’s H2 chip, which already powers AirPods Pro. The upgrade brings much stronger Active Noise Cancellation. Apple says ANC is now up to 1.5 times more effective than before.

Transparency mode also gets an improvement. Apple says it now sounds more natural thanks to a new processing system powered by H2.

The H2 chip replaces the older H1 chip found in the first AirPods Max. It also unlocks several new features that were not available before.

AirPods Max 2 now support Live Translation, Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, and Loud Sound Reduction. Users also get studio-quality audio recording, Siri head gesture controls, and a Camera Remote feature.

Like the previous model, the new headphones support 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio when connected with a USB-C cable.

AirPods Max 2 will cost $549. Orders open on March 25, and shipping starts in early April.

The headphones come in midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue.

Apple has not announced any major design changes. The overall look remains the same as the previous model.

Spotify Could Finally Let You Create Playlist Folders on Mobile After 15 Years

Spotify may soon fix one of the most frustrating limits on its mobile app.

The music streaming app is working on bringing “Playlist folders” to Android and iOS. This feature has existed since 2010, but users can only create and manage folders on desktop or web. On mobile, you can see folders, but you cannot edit them.

That could soon change.

New code found inside the latest version of the Spotify app suggests users will be able to create folders directly from their phone. The code shows options to name folders, move playlists into them, and remove playlists from them.

There are also options to rename or delete folders. A warning message appears to confirm if users want to delete a folder and all playlists inside it.

If this update rolls out, it will make playlist management much easier. Many users mainly use Spotify on their phones and rarely open the desktop app.

Spotify has not officially announced the feature yet. Since this information comes from app code, it is possible the feature may change or not launch at all.

But if it does arrive, it will solve a problem fans have complained about for more than a decade.

Sergio Pérez Slams Danica Patrick Over Max Verstappen Criticism

0

Sergio Pérez has publicly defended his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen after fresh criticism from former F1 commentator Danica Patrick.

The Mexican driver delivered a powerful and emotional statement that quickly spread across social media and F1 fan pages.

Here is Pérez’s full quote:

“What she’s doing to him is an absolute scandal and an insult to F1. She’s criticizing a legendary driver who is achieving incredible results with a car that has almost nothing left to offer, a driver who risks everything at every corner and never gives up. To me, Max is currently one of the purest and most valuable talents Red Bull F1 has had in years. Anyone who truly understands the sport knows that: he has everything it takes to become one of the greatest legendary drivers in F1 history.”

Patrick has often questioned Verstappen’s aggressive driving style, especially when he is under pressure or when Red Bull does not have the fastest car. Clips from her past TV appearances and podcasts continue to circulate online, even though she is not part of Sky Sports F1’s 2026 lineup.

The comments come during a challenging 2026 season for Red Bull. New regulations have shaken up the grid. Verstappen has said the car feels “anti-racing” at times, but he continues to extract strong results from it.

Fans reacted instantly. Many praised Pérez for showing loyalty and called his defense a class act. Others said it was expected from a teammate. Some also pointed out that Patrick previously suggested Red Bull should consider replacing Pérez in earlier seasons.

Patrick has not responded so far. But Pérez has made his stance clear. He is standing firmly behind his teammate as the F1 season heats up.

Kanye West’s ‘Ye Live in India’ Concert Postponed Over Geopolitical Tensions

Kanye West’s first-ever concert in India has officially been postponed.

The rapper, now known as Ye, was set to perform in New Delhi on March 29. Organizers have now moved the show to May 23, 2026.

In a statement shared on Instagram, the event partners said the decision was due to “the prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions.” They added that the safety of fans, the artist, and the production team is their top priority.

The concert will still take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. All tickets bought for the original date will remain valid for the new date. Fans do not need to rebook.

The announcement comes after days of rumors online. Some reports had claimed the show would go ahead as planned, but organizers have now confirmed the change.

Fans have shared mixed reactions on social media. Some are disappointed about the delay, while others are relieved the concert has not been canceled completely.

The show is expected to feature some of Ye’s biggest hits, including “Runaway,” “Stronger,” and “Gold Digger.” Despite the delay, excitement remains high for what will be a major moment for live music in India.

Ye’s India debut is now locked in for May 23, 2026.

Javier Bardem Says ‘No to War and Free Palestine’ at Oscars

0

Javier Bardem made one of the most talked-about moments at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15, 2026.

The Oscar winner took the stage at the Dolby Theatre to present Best International Feature Film alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas. But before announcing the nominees, Bardem delivered a short and direct message.

He said: “No to war and free Palestine.”

The audience responded with loud applause and cheers. Several people in the crowd stood and clapped as the camera panned across the theater.

Bardem has spoken out for Palestinian rights for years. On the red carpet and on stage, he wore pins that read “Palestine” and “No a la Guerra,” which means “No to war” in Spanish. He has used the same anti-war phrase in the past during protests against the Iraq War in 2003.

Clips of the moment quickly spread across social media. Many people praised Bardem for using his platform to speak out. Others debated whether the Oscars stage was the right place for political messages.

The ceremony celebrated major wins for films like One Battle After Another, but Bardem’s statement added a serious tone to the night. His words became one of the most shared and discussed moments of the 2026 Oscars.

Conan O’Brien Stuns Oscars Crowd With Brutal Prince Andrew Joke

0

Conan O’Brien kicked off the 98th Academy Awards with a monologue people are still talking about.

Hosting the Oscars for the second year in a row, Conan delivered a sharp set packed with bold jokes. But one line in particular made the Dolby Theatre crowd gasp.

He pointed out that for the first time since 2012, there were no British actors nominated for Best Actor or Best Actress.

Then he added: “A British spokesperson said, ‘Yeah, well, at least we arrest our pedophiles.’”

The room reacted with a mix of stunned silence, nervous laughter and loud applause. The joke quickly went viral online.

Many saw it as a clear reference to Prince Andrew’s recent arrest in the UK following renewed investigations linked to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Conan did not name anyone directly, but the meaning was obvious to viewers.

Some people online called the joke brave and praised Conan for taking risks. Others said it went too far and felt uncomfortable given the serious topic.

The moment became one of the most shared clips of the night. While films like One Battle After Another and Sinners won big, it was Conan’s opening joke that had everyone talking long after the ceremony ended.

‘Marty Supreme’ Loses All 9 Oscars It Was Nominated For

Marty Supreme was one of the biggest films heading into the 98th Academy Awards on March 15, 2026. But despite nine nominations, the film left the Dolby Theatre with zero wins.

The Josh Safdie-directed drama, starring Timothée Chalamet, had strong momentum all season. The A24 film made over $179 million worldwide and scored 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. Fans praised its fast pace, 1950s New York setting, and story about ambition and the American dream.

Chalamet played a table tennis prodigy inspired by real-life legend Marty Reisman. He trained for seven years for the role. He had already won major awards earlier in the season, which made many believe he was the favorite for Best Actor.

At the Oscars, the film was nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Original Screenplay, Editing, Cinematography, Production Design, Original Score, and the new Best Casting category. It looked like a serious contender across the board.

But the night belonged to other films. One Battle After Another and Sinners dominated the ceremony. Michael B. Jordan won Best Actor, while Paul Thomas Anderson took Best Director.

When the final award was handed out, Marty Supreme had gone zero for nine. It became one of the biggest shutouts in recent Oscar history for a film with so many nominations.

Fans quickly reacted online. Many called it one of the night’s biggest snubs. While it did not win any trophies, Marty Supreme still stands as a major hit for A24 and a defining film in Chalamet’s career.

60,000 Subscribers Quit Washington Post After Bezos Cuts Nearly Half The Staff

More than 60,000 people canceled their Washington Post digital subscriptions after the paper laid off nearly half of its newsroom staff.

According to a report from The New York Times, the cancellations came in the week following major job cuts in February. The Washington Post laid off about 350 reporters out of 800, cutting 44% of its journalists.

Several departments were heavily reduced. The sports and books sections were folded, and the metro desk was scaled back. Many international reporters and editors also lost their jobs.

The paper’s owner, Jeff Bezos, supported the cuts as the company faced an annual loss of $100 million. Bezos reportedly became more involved in big decisions over the past two years, though he does not manage daily newsroom operations.

At the lowest subscription price of $40 per year, the 60,000 cancellations could mean at least $2.4 million in lost annual revenue.

Former CEO and publisher Will Lewis resigned just days after the layoffs were announced. Reports say his appearance at a Super Bowl party shortly after the cuts upset staff and became a final breaking point.

The Washington Post has not publicly detailed the long-term impact of the cancellations. However, the sharp drop in subscribers shows how strongly readers reacted to the sweeping changes.

Major Android Flaw Exposes 875 Million Devices To Hackers

0

A serious security flaw could put up to 875 million Android phones at risk.

Security researchers found a vulnerability in devices powered by certain MediaTek chips. They say a hacker with physical access to a locked phone could break into it in less than 60 seconds.

The flaw, known as CVE-2025-20435, affects the phone’s secure boot process. This means an attacker could connect the device to a computer using USB and extract critical security keys before the phone fully boots up.

Once those keys are taken, encrypted data can be unlocked offline. Researchers say this could expose messages, photos, and even crypto wallet seed phrases stored on the device.

The issue was discovered by Ledger’s Donjon security team. MediaTek confirmed it released a fix in January after responsible disclosure from the researchers.

However, not all phones may have received the update yet. Android’s ecosystem is fragmented, and updates depend on manufacturers and carriers pushing them out.

Users are urged to check for the latest security updates in their phone settings. If your device uses a MediaTek chipset, installing the newest firmware patch could be critical to staying protected.

New Daredevil: Born Again Skin Lands In Marvel Rivals

Marvel Rivals has released a brand-new MCU skin for Daredevil, and fans already love it.

The new costume dropped on March 13 and is inspired by Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. It marks the first live-action MCU skin for Matt Murdock in the game.

Instead of the classic bright red suit, this version is mostly black. It features a bold red “DD” logo on the chest, matching the darker look seen in trailers for the upcoming Disney+ season.

Daredevil first joined Marvel Rivals in Season 4. His default outfit had more of an armored, mystical design tied to the game’s lore. This new MCU skin brings him closer to his comic-accurate style.

The bundle costs 1600 in-game units and includes special extras. One highlight is an MVP animation that shows Daredevil blocking gunfire with his billy clubs.

There is also a unique emote. In it, Matt takes a bullet and drops to one knee. When he stands back up, the black paint is damaged, revealing red underneath. Fans think this could hint at how his suit evolves in Season 2.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres March 24 on Disney+. With Kingpin declaring war on vigilantes, the timing of this new skin could not be better.

Marvel Reveals Third Member Of Daredevil’s New Resistance Team

Marvel has officially revealed the third member of Daredevil’s growing resistance team in Born Again Season 2.

After Wilson Fisk took control of New York and created his Anti-Vigilante Task Force, Matt Murdock made it clear he would need an army. Now fans know who is standing with him.

Karen Page is already confirmed. Deborah Ann Woll returns as Matt’s longtime ally, and trailers show her working closely with him again. She is not just supporting from the sidelines. She is in the fight.

Jessica Jones is also back. Krysten Ritter returns to the role for the first time since 2019. Footage shows her teaming up with Matt and using her super strength against Fisk’s forces.

Now Marvel has confirmed the third member: White Tiger. Angela del Toro will suit up in Season 2 after the death of her uncle, the original White Tiger. A new teaser shows her in costume, ready to join the resistance.

Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on March 24. With Fisk tightening his grip on the city, Daredevil’s new team is finally taking shape — and the fight for New York is just getting started.

Apple Could Freeze iPhone 18 Pro Price Despite Rising Chip Costs

0

Apple may not raise the price of the iPhone 18 Pro this year. New reports claim the upcoming Pro models could cost the same as the current iPhone 17 Pro lineup.

Respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple is likely to keep prices steady when the new phones launch in the second half of 2026. If true, the iPhone 18 Pro would start at $1,099 and the Pro Max at $1,199.

This comes even as memory and chip prices rise across the tech industry. Many companies are facing higher costs due to strong demand for AI servers and storage components.

Kuo says Apple plans to absorb those extra costs instead of passing them on to customers. He believes Apple is using the current “memory market chaos” to secure better deals and grow its market share.

Another analyst, Jeff Pu of GF Securities, shared a similar view. In a research note, he said Apple is focusing on cost management and negotiating better prices for memory chips and other parts like cameras and displays.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to launch first, likely in September 2026. The standard iPhone 18 may arrive later, possibly next year.

If Apple keeps prices the same, it would go against the trend. Samsung recently raised prices on its Galaxy S26 series, and other brands may follow. For now, iPhone fans could be getting a rare bit of good news.

ChatGPT Can Now Control Spotify, Uber, DoorDash, and More

ChatGPT is no longer just a chatbot. OpenAI has added direct app integrations, letting you control real services like Spotify, Uber, and DoorDash — all from one chat.

You can now link your accounts and ask ChatGPT to do tasks for you. Want a workout playlist on Spotify? Just ask. Need groceries delivered? It can add everything to your cart.

Setting it up is simple. Log in, go to Settings > Apps, and connect your accounts. Once linked, just start a message with the app’s name — like “Spotify, make a chill playlist” — and ChatGPT handles the rest.

But be careful. Connecting apps means sharing your data. Spotify will let ChatGPT see your listening history. DoorDash will know what you order. Turn them off anytime in Settings if you change your mind.

Some of the most useful tools include Booking.com and Expedia for travel, Target and Wix for shopping and websites, and Coursera for learning. Students can even turn notes into flashcards using Quizlet.

Right now, these features only work for users in the U.S. and Canada. Europe and the U.K. are still waiting. More apps like PayPal, OpenTable, and Walmart are coming later in 2026.

ChatGPT is turning into a personal assistant that acts — not just talks. Whether you’re planning a trip, ordering food, or building a website, it can help you get things done faster.

Kimi Antonelli Claims First F1 Grand Prix Win In Emotional Chinese Grand Prix

0

Kimi Antonelli has won his first Formula 1 race, and he could barely hold it together on the podium.

The 19-year-old Mercedes driver dominated the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai on Sunday, leading from pole position to the chequered flag to seal a commanding Mercedes one-two finish. Teammate George Russell followed him home in second, with Lewis Hamilton completing the podium in third — his first rostrum since joining Ferrari.

Antonelli was visibly emotional after the race. “I’m speechless, I’m about to cry to be honest,” he said. “These tears are not just for the race win, it’s years of hard work being fulfilled today.”

At 19 years and 202 days old, he becomes the second-youngest driver ever to win a Grand Prix, behind only Max Verstappen’s famous 2016 Spanish GP win at age 18. He’s also the first Italian to win a Grand Prix since Giancarlo Fisichella back in 2006.

Antonelli had already made history in qualifying, setting a lap of 1:32.064 to become the youngest pole-sitter in F1 history. He then converted it into a race win by around five seconds — a composed and mature drive from someone still in just their second F1 season.

It’s worth noting that both McLarens failed to start, which reshuffled the pack — but Antonelli’s performance left little doubt about his pace.

Hamilton, the veteran he replaced at Mercedes, was there on the podium to congratulate him. It made for a poignant moment — the old guard watching the new one announce himself to the world.

Antonelli stepped into one of the toughest seats in F1 when Hamilton left for Ferrari ahead of the 2025 season. He’s been making the case ever since that the team made the right call keeping faith in him. Sunday in Shanghai was the loudest statement yet.

The Stat That Proves Lewis Hamilton Is Formula 1’s Greatest Ever Driver

0

Lewis Hamilton holds the record for the most podium finishes in Formula 1 history — and it’s not particularly close.

The seven-time world champion has racked up over 200 podiums across his career, with figures sitting around 202–203 in recent tallies. The next closest driver is the legendary Michael Schumacher, who managed 155. After that, Sebastian Vettel sits on roughly 122.

Hamilton first broke Schumacher’s record on 16 August 2020, at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. Driving for Mercedes, he won the race by 24 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen — his 88th career win and his 156th podium, one more than Schumacher had ever managed.

It hadn’t taken long to get there. Just one week earlier, Hamilton had tied the record with a second-place finish at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone.

After breaking it, Hamilton was typically understated. He said the achievement was “far beyond what I dreamed as a kid” and that he felt “humbled and honoured” to surpass such a long-standing benchmark.

Since then, he’s just kept adding to it. What started as one podium ahead of Schumacher has grown into a lead of nearly 50.

Hamilton also holds F1 records for the most race wins (105), most pole positions (104), and most career points — making the podium record just one piece of a broader legacy that may take decades to challenge.

Formula 1 is set to cancel the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East. Several major outlets, including Sky Sports, ESPN, BBC and Reuters, report that the decision is expected to be confirmed very soon.

The two races were scheduled as the fourth and fifth rounds of the 2026 season. The Bahrain race was set for April 10 to 12 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, followed by the Saudi Arabian race from April 17 to 19 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

Reports say safety is the main concern. The ongoing conflict in the region has led to strikes and retaliation across several areas. Because of the uncertainty, Formula 1 and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile are believed to have decided the events cannot go ahead.

Teams were also approaching key freight deadlines to ship equipment to Bahrain. With limited time left to move cars and equipment safely, organisers needed to make a quick decision about whether the races could still happen.

If confirmed, the move will cut the 2026 calendar from 24 races to 22. It would also create a five week gap between the Japanese Grand Prix at the end of March and the Miami Grand Prix in early May.

Reports suggest there are no plans to replace the cancelled races. Adding new venues at short notice would be difficult because the rest of the season schedule is already very tight.

Although official confirmation is still pending, the events have already started appearing as “called off” on synced Formula 1 calendars. That suggests the decision is already in motion.

The season continues this weekend with the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai. Drivers such as Kimi Antonelli have already impressed early in the season, but teams and fans may now face a long break before racing returns in Miami.

Kimi Antonelli Becomes the Youngest Pole Sitter in F1 History After Stunning Shanghai Lap

0

Kimi Antonelli has made Formula 1 history after becoming the youngest pole sitter ever during qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix. The 19 year old driver delivered a stunning lap at the Shanghai International Circuit to secure the first pole position of his career.

Driving for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Antonelli set a blistering lap time of 1:32.322 in the final moments of qualifying. No other driver could match the pace as the young Italian topped the session.

The result also means Antonelli has broken a long standing Formula 1 record held by Sebastian Vettel. Vettel had been the youngest pole sitter in the sport since 2008, but Antonelli has now taken that record at just 19 years old.

His teammate George Russell looked like the main challenger for pole throughout the session. However, Russell suffered late issues, including battery problems, which stopped him from making a final push for the top spot.

Drivers such as Oscar Piastri also tried to challenge for pole but could not get close to Antonelli’s time. The Mercedes rookie stayed calm under pressure and delivered what he later described as a “perfect lap.”

Speaking after the session, Antonelli said the moment felt surreal. He thanked the team for giving him a fast car and said he was proud to achieve such a big milestone so early in his career.

The record breaking pole is another sign of Antonelli’s rapid rise in Formula 1. After a strong rookie campaign and a solid start to the 2026 season, the teenager is already proving he can fight at the very front of the grid.

Now the focus turns to race day. Starting from pole in Shanghai, Antonelli will aim to turn his historic qualifying performance into his first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix victory.

BTS Connect Korean History To Their New ARIRANG Album In Stunning Trailer

0

BTS has revealed the album covers and an animated trailer for their upcoming album ARIRANG, just days before its global release.

The video trailer was shared on the group’s official YouTube channel and acts as a prologue to the album. It introduces a story inspired by a real historical moment involving Korean students in the United States in the late 1800s.

According to the video, the concept references a report published by The Washington Post in 1896 about seven Korean students studying at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Some of them recorded what is believed to be the first audio recording of the Korean folk song “Arirang.”

The animated trailer shows cartoon versions of the seven BTS members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — gathered around a gramophone playing a record. As the music begins, the story moves through historical moments before jumping to 2013, the year the group debuted.

The video ends with the message “What is your love song?” and shows the group standing in front of a royal palace in Seoul. The scene hints at an upcoming performance connected to a special event.

BTS also revealed several vinyl covers for the album. The group version shows the members wearing suits and standing together, while the solo editions feature each member individually.

Fans will not have to wait long for the full release. ARIRANG is scheduled to arrive on streaming platforms worldwide on March 20.

After the album drops, BTS will perform a live show in Seoul that will stream exclusively on Netflix before the group begins promotions and launches the 2026 BTS World Tour: ARIRANG.

BET+ Is Shutting Down As Paramount Moves All Content To Paramount+

0

Paramount is folding BET+ into Paramount+ this June, leaving the company with just one streaming platform in the US — down from three just a few years ago.

More than 1,000 hours of BET+ content, including originals, movies and specials, will move to Paramount+. Shows like The Ms. Pat Show, All the Queen’s Men, Zatima and Diarra from Detroit will continue on the flagship streamer.

To make the merger happen, Paramount first bought out Tyler Perry’s ownership stake in BET+ — believed to be around 25%. Perry had been a co-owner since the platform launched in 2019. Financial details weren’t disclosed, but his stake was valued at tens of millions of dollars.

Perry isn’t going anywhere though. He still has a deal with BET running until 2028, under which he’ll keep delivering hundreds of new episodes across existing and new series.

Current BET+ subscribers who pay directly through the app will be offered a discount to join Paramount+. BET+ costs between $5.99 and $10.99 per month, while Paramount+ runs $8.99 to $13.99.

BET+ has roughly 3.5 million subscribers. Paramount+ has 80 million — so the move significantly expands the reach of BET content, even if it loses its standalone identity.

This follows Paramount’s 2023 decision to absorb Showtime’s streaming platform into Paramount+. The pattern is likely to continue if Paramount’s proposed merger with Warner Bros. Discovery goes ahead — Paramount+ and HBO Max are expected to become one service after that deal closes.

Bad News for Cyberpunk 2077 Fans as CD Projekt Confirms the Game Is Done

CD Projekt has confirmed there will be no more DLC or expansions for Cyberpunk 2077 — and fans are not happy about it.

The Polish studio made the announcement on social media after a fan cheekily asked the official Cyberpunk 2077 account when the game would be getting “secret new DLC.” The response was blunt: “We have no plans for additional DLCs or expansions. If anything changes, we will inform you all.”

Fans were quick to express their disappointment. “So you’re really gonna have us wait 5+ more years for any new Cyberpunk content,” wrote one. “Come ooooooon, just a small expansion pleeeeeeease,” said another.

The news means fans will have to wait for Cyberpunk 2 to return to the neon-lit dystopian world of Night City. That wait could be a long one — CD Projekt’s co-CEO has suggested Cyberpunk 2 won’t arrive until at least 2030.

The announcement came at an interesting time. Reports have been circulating that CD Projekt is quietly working on a secret DLC for The Witcher 3, which would reportedly feature a Dune-style desert location. That game is already over a decade old.

CD Projekt has a packed schedule ahead. The Witcher 4 is in production and expected no earlier than 2027. After that, the studio has an ambitious six-year plan that includes The Witcher 5 and The Witcher 6 as well.

So if you were hoping to jump back into Cyberpunk 2077 with fresh content, it looks like Night City is closed for business — for now.

Netflix’s Most Expensive Non-Stranger Things Show Is Struggling to Find an Audience

Netflix’s One Piece season 2 has landed with a perfect 100% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes — but its viewing numbers in the US tell a very different story.

Despite the rave reviews, the show failed to debut at number one on Netflix’s US top 10 list on release day. It was beaten by The Dinosaurs, a Spielberg-produced CGI documentary, and then fell behind a Love is Blind reunion episode.

Three days in, it had already dropped to number four — sitting behind Love is Blind, the returning drama Virgin River, and a new reality show called Age of Attraction.

That is a problem given how much the show costs. Season one reportedly ran to around $18 million per episode, putting it among the most expensive Netflix shows ever made alongside Stranger Things.

The long wait between seasons is likely a big factor. Two and a half years passed between season one and season two — and Netflix has seen this hurt big shows before. Wednesday dropped significantly after a three-year gap, and Stranger Things season 5 is not expected to match season 4’s numbers either.

The show’s niche appeal may also be working against it. One Piece has a massive and devoted fanbase, but the premise can look like a children’s show to anyone unfamiliar with the manga. General audiences scrolling past the trailer might simply skip it.

Season 3 is already in production in Cape Town, so cancellation is not on the cards yet. But if viewership stays this low, Netflix may have to seriously reconsider how far it takes the adaptation.

The Netflix Spy Show With 20 Million Views That Is Making Germany’s Real Spy Agency Look Bad

A new Netflix spy thriller about Germany’s secret service has racked up over 20 million views in just a few weeks — and it’s making the real agency wish it could actually do half the things shown on screen.

Unfamiliar is a six-part German series following a married couple, both former spies, who are pulled back into the world of espionage when a Russian agent shows up in Berlin. It is the first TV show ever filmed on location at the headquarters of Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service, known as the BND.

The show portrays the BND as bumbling and boxed in by rules — while its agents hack hospital databases, break into palaces, and use facial recognition software without a second thought. In reality, most of that would be illegal under German law.

That gap between fiction and reality is the whole point. Germany’s spy agency has some of the strictest limitations of any in the western world, a legacy of the country’s Nazi past and fears about giving too much power to intelligence services.

But things are changing. Germany’s new government has increased the BND’s budget by 26% this year. New laws expected later in 2026 could give the agency powers to fight back against cyber-attacks, use facial recognition, and hold data for longer.

The BND has had some embarrassing real-world moments too. Its former chief had to be rushed out of Kyiv on the day Russia invaded Ukraine. This week, a former vice-president reportedly fell for a Russian hacking attempt on Signal.

The BND advised on the show but had no veto over its content. The show’s makers say the idea was written two and a half years before they even approached the agency — so it was never made at the government’s request.

Apple TV+ Spent $10 Million Per Episode on This Sci-Fi Series and It Was Absolutely Worth It

Apple TV+’s Foundation is one of the most expensive shows on streaming — and it has more than earned every penny.

The sci-fi series costs $10 million per episode and is based on Isaac Asimov’s legendary book series, which is widely considered one of the greatest sci-fi stories ever written. After years stuck in development hell, it finally arrived on Apple TV+ in 2021 and has now run for three near-perfect seasons.

The show spans thousands of years and follows a galactic empire on the brink of collapse. Genius mathematician Hari Seldon, played by Jared Harris, can’t stop humanity’s downfall — but he tries to limit the damage. Standing in his way is a powerful dynasty ruled by a trio of clones and an immortal robot empress.

It sounds complicated, but the show does a good job of bringing viewers up to speed without dumbing things down. The political scheming, power struggles, and morally grey characters give it the feel of a space-age Game of Thrones.

The visuals match the ambition. The CGI and set design are blockbuster-level, showing off alien worlds, flooded civilisations, and vast star systems. Nothing feels wasteful — every visual serves the story.

Critics have loved it. The show has grown its audience with each season and is now considered one of the best sci-fi series on any streaming platform.

A third season is already in the works, and the show continues to build on Asimov’s ideas around politics, religion, identity, and what it means to try and save a civilisation that’s already decided to destroy itself.

Netflix’s Extraction Spinoff Has Finished Filming With Blackpink’s Lisa and a Squid Game Star

The first spinoff film in Netflix’s Extraction franchise has officially finished filming.

AGBO, the production company run by the Russo brothers, confirmed the news on Instagram with a wrap photo showing a chair bearing the Extraction: Tygo logo and a small axe resting on the seat.

The spinoff doesn’t star Chris Hemsworth. Instead, Don Lee — known for playing Gilgamesh in Eternals — takes the lead as Tygo, a mercenary who goes on a revenge mission after a botched job lands him in the middle of the Korean underworld.

Lee Jin-uk from Squid Game and Blackpink’s Lisa Manobal also star in the film. Lee Sang-yong directed it from a script by Cha Woo-jin, with the Russo brothers producing.

The original Extraction launched in 2020, with Hemsworth playing mercenary Tyler Rake. Its sequel dropped in 2023 and scored 80% on Rotten Tomatoes — well above the first film’s 67%.

The main franchise is still moving forward too. Extraction 3 is in pre-production and expected to land in 2027, with Hemsworth returning alongside Idris Elba, Olga Kurylenko, and Golshifteh Farahani.

On top of that, a TV series called Mercenary: An Extraction Series is also in the works, starring Omar Sy, Boyd Holbrook, and Natalie Dormer across eight episodes.

Patos Meme Coin Surges as Investors Leave 401JK Token After Discord Drama

Investors are rapidly moving capital from the 401JK token to the Patos Meme Coin presale following a high-profile Discord incident on March 10, 2026. During an AMA session, the 401JK founder displayed erratic and aggressive behavior, which undermined confidence among token holders.

The confrontation occurred in the Juan Cena DAO Discord channel. The 401JK founder attempted to spread fear about Patos but instead revealed unprofessional and unstable conduct. Investors quickly began shifting funds to Patos to avoid risks associated with an unstable leadership.

Patos Meme Coin has emerged as the leading presale on the Solana network. The project gained attention after appointing marketing expert Mark Zuckerfart to its executive board. Presale activity surged 500%, and listings on eight major centralized exchanges are confirmed.

The Patos team maintained composure throughout the Discord dispute, reinforcing investor confidence. The founder emphasized internal growth and brand focus, contrasting sharply with 401JK’s behavior. Analysts see this as a turning point, likely accelerating the migration of capital from less stable meme projects.

Patos has also launched Patos.Games, a GameFi hub for play-to-earn experiences. Users can compete for monthly prize pools, increasing engagement and community retention. The project now combines meme culture with functional blockchain gaming.

Presale numbers show strong demand. Over 83% of first-round tokens have sold, with only 16% remaining. The first-round price of $0.000139999993 offers an expected 108% return when the token officially lists at $0.0002949999853.

Meanwhile, 401JK’s market metrics are declining. Trading volume fell from $400,000 to under $96,000 in 24 hours. Google News coverage has vanished for months, highlighting the loss of investor trust.

Patos Meme Coin’s strategic leadership, marketing strength, and community engagement have positioned it as a dominant player in the Solana meme coin ecosystem. The “Patos Flock” continues to grow, signaling sustained momentum amid broader market uncertainty.

“The Hunt” Climbs Global Apple TV Charts Despite Plagiarism Controversy

Apple TV’s six-part thriller The Hunt is climbing streaming charts worldwide, despite a three-month delay in its release. According to FlixPatrol, the French series is currently trending at #9 globally on Apple TV and performs strongly across multiple countries, including South Africa, France, Mozambique, and Norway.

The show had faced controversy in November 2025 after being accused of plagiarizing Douglas Fairbairn’s 1973 novel Shoot. Apple TV and Gaumont, the show’s producer, addressed the issue by acknowledging the source material and striking a deal with the book’s rights holders. This resulted in a postponed debut, with the series premiering on March 4, 2026, instead of December 2025.

The Hunt stars Mélanie Laurent, Benoît Magimel, Damien Bonnard, Manuel Guillot, and Sarah Pachoud. Episode 4 is scheduled to release on March 18. The series’ Rotten Tomatoes score has not yet been published due to the delay.

Despite the challenges, the series’ suspenseful storytelling and strong performances have captured viewers’ attention globally. Apple TV’s platform shows the French thriller trending in the top ten in multiple countries, from Europe to Africa, signaling a major international success for the series.

The show’s popularity highlights how compelling storytelling can resonate across languages and cultures, even amid controversies and delays, cementing Apple TV’s reputation as a home for globally appealing dramas and thrillers.
