Netflix and Sony Confirm ‘KPop Demon Hunters 2’ Coming in 2029

Netflix and Sony have officially confirmed a sequel to the hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, which first premiered in 2025. The follow-up is scheduled for release in 2029 and marks the start of Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans’ new multi-year deal with Netflix for writing and directing animation projects.

The first film follows a fictional K-pop girl group—Rumi, Mira, and Zoey—who secretly fight demons threatening the world, balancing their lives as music stars and heroes. The sequel will continue their story, though specific plot details have not yet been revealed. Appelhans promised fans that the creative team is excited to develop the next chapter and watch the characters evolve.

The original film became Netflix’s most popular movie of all time, attracting a global audience and even seeing box office success during special theater sing-along events. It has also been nominated for Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Original Song for “Golden.”

Netflix and Sony executives praised Kang and Appelhans for breaking cultural barriers and building a global fandom. Netflix’s chief content officer, Bela Bajaria, said the duo “ignited a global fandom that crossed languages, generations, and genres.” Sony Pictures Animation’s leadership added that they are thrilled to help expand the universe in the next chapter.

Fans of the franchise can expect the sequel to build on the original’s unique mix of music, adventure, and supernatural battles while exploring the world and characters more deeply.

Africa’s Young Digital Market Attracts Global AI Investments from Microsoft and DeepSeek

Africa is emerging as a major player in the global artificial intelligence race, attracting investments from both US and Chinese tech companies. The continent’s fast-growing digital economy and young population make it an ideal market for AI expansion.

Microsoft is heavily investing in Africa, aiming to train three million people in AI skills by 2026. The company has partnered with MTN Group Ltd. to bring Microsoft 365 and the AI assistant Copilot to 300 million subscribers. It is also expanding cloud and AI infrastructure in South Africa and developing sustainable data centers in Kenya.

Meanwhile, China’s DeepSeek is gaining traction due to its affordable AI models and strong infrastructure investments under the Belt and Road Initiative. Its adoption is rising in countries like Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria, where low-cost devices and open-source platforms make the AI accessible to more developers.

Other US tech firms, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and IBM, are also expanding partnerships with African governments and educational institutions to promote AI literacy, healthcare applications, and public-sector integration.

Investment in digital infrastructure is accelerating as well. Nvidia and Cassava Technologies are developing AI-ready data centers in Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, and Morocco, with total investments around $700 million.

With projections showing that one in four people in the world will be African by 2050, the continent is set to become a key frontier for technology adoption. Both Western and Chinese firms are racing to secure influence through infrastructure, talent development, and partnerships, highlighting Africa’s growing role in the global AI landscape.

Meta Delays Avocado AI Model Amid Performance Concerns

Meta Platforms has postponed the release of its new A.I. model, code-named Avocado, after internal tests showed it fell short of leading competitors. The company now expects to launch the model in May, rather than this month.

Meta’s chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg, has invested billions into A.I. research and development. The company’s previous model, Llama 4, underperformed expectations, prompting Meta to ramp up investment in its new A.I. division.

Avocado outperformed Meta’s older models and did better than Google’s Gemini 2.5, but lagged behind Gemini 3.0 from last November. Meta is reportedly considering temporarily licensing Gemini to power some products while Avocado is refined.

The model is being developed by TBD Lab, a team of around 100 employees led by Meta’s chief A.I. officer, Alexandr Wang. The lab has been working on two fruit-themed A.I. models — Avocado for text and reasoning, and Mango for image and video generation.

Meta executives are debating whether Avocado will be open source, which allows developers to build on the model, or closed, keeping the code private. The decision could affect adoption and safety concerns in the broader A.I. community.

So far, TBD Lab has released only one product, the A.I. video app Vibes, similar to OpenAI’s Sora. Meta plans to continue releasing updates gradually, showing progress over time rather than aiming for a single breakthrough product.

Despite the delay, Meta remains committed to its A.I. ambitions. Zuckerberg and Wang have outlined plans for future models, including one named Watermelon, aiming for “superintelligent” A.I. capabilities that could shape the company’s next era.

The collection also includes several modern features. Players can use save states and rewind options to make difficult games easier to complete. A digital archive with old box art, manuals, and advertisements will also be included.

Fans will also be able to listen to classic chip-tune soundtracks through a built-in music player. Display options such as CRT and scanline filters will recreate the look of old arcade machines and televisions.

Overall, the collection aims to celebrate Marvel’s early gaming history and bring classic superhero games to modern platforms for a new generation of players.

‘Tulsa King’ Season 4 Brings in ‘The Rookie’ Star as Tech Billionaire

The hit crime drama Tulsa King is adding a new face ahead of its fourth season.

Actor Flula Borg has joined the cast in a key role. He will play Bradley Van Heusen, a tech billionaire who is expected to become an important character in the upcoming season.

The series stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a mafia capo who tries to build a new criminal empire after being released from prison. The show premiered in 2022 and quickly became one of the most popular series on Paramount+.

Borg is best known for his role in the ABC crime drama The Rookie. He also appeared alongside Dave Bautista in the action-comedy film My Spy: The Eternal City.

Production for Tulsa King Season 4 is expected to begin soon. The show was renewed early, showing strong confidence from Paramount in its growing popularity.

Meanwhile, the Tulsa King universe is expanding. Actor Samuel L. Jackson recently appeared in Season 3 as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a character who will now lead a new spin-off series.

The spin-off was originally titled NOLA King and planned to take place in New Orleans. However, reports say the project has been reworked and will now be called Frisco King.

Series creator Taylor Sheridan will reportedly write every episode of the new spin-off, continuing to expand the growing crime drama universe.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Season 6 Uncertain as Star Gives Honest Update

The future of Law & Order: Organized Crime is still uncertain as fans wait for news about a possible new season.

The crime drama first premiered in April 2021 and follows Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler. The character returns to the NYPD after the murder of his wife and begins leading investigations into major criminal organizations.

Recently, cast member Danielle Moné Truitt was asked on social media whether the series would return for another season. Truitt, who plays Sergeant Ayanna Bell, responded with a simple answer: she is “not sure.”

The show’s fifth season ended in June 2025, leaving the story open for more cases. However, the series has not yet received an official renewal since moving from NBC to the streaming platform Peacock.

Reports suggest the series is currently “not very active,” though producers are looking for a new showrunner. If a new creative leader is found, the chances of the show continuing could improve.

The series has already gone through several showrunner changes since its debut. Matt Olmstead, one of the co-creators, returned as an executive producer to help guide the show during its move to Peacock.

Meanwhile, Meloni has signed on to star in a new Hulu series called The Land. Even so, earlier reports said the new project would not stop him from returning as Stabler if Organized Crime gets another season.

For now, fans of the Law & Order universe will have to wait for an official decision about whether the Stabler-focused spinoff will return.

Adobe Stock Drops After Longtime CEO Announces Departure

Adobe reported stronger-than-expected earnings for its fiscal first quarter, but the good news was overshadowed by a major leadership change.

The company announced that longtime CEO Shantanu Narayen will step down after leading the company for 18 years. Narayen will stay in the role until a successor is chosen and will remain chairman of the board.

After the announcement, Adobe shares fell about 6.7% in after-hours trading. The stock has already dropped around 23% this year and is far below its all-time high from 2021.

Despite the market reaction, Adobe posted solid financial results. The company reported adjusted earnings of $6.06 per share on $6.4 billion in revenue. Analysts had expected $5.87 per share on $6.28 billion in revenue.

Artificial intelligence is becoming a key topic for Adobe and the wider software industry. Some investors worry that new AI tools could replace traditional creative software.

Adobe is trying to show that its own AI products are gaining traction. The company said its AI-focused annual recurring revenue more than tripled compared to last year.

Looking ahead, Adobe expects second-quarter earnings between $5.80 and $5.85 per share, with revenue projected between $6.43 billion and $6.48 billion.

Even with strong earnings, investors remain cautious. The next CEO will likely face pressure to prove that Adobe can stay competitive in the fast-growing AI era.

‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Teased at Balenciaga Show in Surprising Fashion Collaboration

The creator of Euphoria, Sam Levinson, surprised fans after teaming up with Balenciaga for a special runway show during Paris Fashion Week.

The collaboration took place on March 7. Levinson worked with Balenciaga creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli to create the visual concept for the show. While Piccioli designed the clothing collection, Levinson handled the staging and cinematography.

Large video screens surrounded the runway. They showed unseen footage from the upcoming third season of Euphoria. The show also featured images from the series printed on some of the clothes, blending fashion and television in one event.

The event included several cast members from the HBO drama. Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi and Hunter Schafer are set to return for the new season. New actors like Danielle Deadwyler and Priscilla Delgado also attended the show.

According to Levinson, the idea for the collaboration started after he met Piccioli in 2022. The two creatives discovered they shared a similar way of thinking about characters, clothing and visual storytelling.

Levinson said he used landscapes, moon imagery and character close-ups from the upcoming season to create a montage that played during the show. Models were later filmed to blend into the Euphoria world, creating a mix of fashion and cinematic storytelling.

The third season of Euphoria will jump five years into the future and explore the characters’ lives after high school. Levinson said the new season feels “deeper” and more mature while still keeping the intense style the show is known for.

Season 3 of Euphoria is set to premiere on April 12, ending a wait of more than four years since the previous season aired.

Apple Is Bringing Touch ID Back to the iPhone This Year

0

Apple is set to release a new iPhone this year with Touch ID as the main way to unlock it.

This will be the first iPhone with a fingerprint sensor since the iPhone 3 in 2022. Apple had focused on Face ID for its recent iPhones, though some iPads still use Touch ID.

The new device will be a foldable iPhone, designed like a small book. Touch ID will be built into the side button because the front panel is too thin for the usual Face ID sensors.

The iPhone Fold will still include a Dynamic Island with a small punch-hole camera for notifications and system alerts.

The device is expected to launch around mid-September with a price of about $2,000, making it the most expensive iPhone in the 2026 lineup.

Rumors suggest this foldable model will be Apple’s new flagship, showing the company is experimenting with both design and security features.

Max Verstappen Opens Up on F1 Retirement: “I Don’t Really Want to Leave”

0

Max Verstappen has said he does not want to leave Formula 1, despite his frustration with the new power unit regulations. The four-time world champion will race this weekend at the Chinese Grand Prix.

Since the season began, Verstappen has been openly critical of the new rules. He called the cars “Formula E on steroids” during testing in Barcelona and said the changes left him feeling “completely empty” at the Australian GP.

Verstappen confirmed that he is actively discussing the rules with the FIA. “I don’t really want to leave. I just wish I had a bit more fun,” he said. He added that other racing activities, like the Nurburgring 24 Hours, are keeping him engaged.

The Dutch driver admitted he enjoys working with his team and the engine department but finds driving the new car less enjoyable. He joked about the minor fines for using strong language, showing his usual humor amid criticism.

Despite his dissatisfaction, Verstappen said he hopes the FIA discussions will lead to improvements. “I think we are working towards something, and hopefully that will improve everything,” he added.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali also confirmed that Verstappen has no plans to quit. Meanwhile, Verstappen is preparing for additional racing events while continuing his F1 career with Red Bull Racing.

Fans and analysts are watching closely, as Verstappen’s comments come just ahead of a key race in Shanghai, with the new regulations still stirring debate across the paddock.

Google Launches ‘Ask Maps’ AI Tool to Answer Real-World Questions

Google has announced a major update to Google Maps, introducing new artificial intelligence features powered by Gemini. The company says it is the biggest overhaul of the app in more than a decade.

The main addition is a feature called Ask Maps.” It allows users to ask detailed questions in everyday language and receive personalized recommendations along with a custom map.

For example, users can ask where to charge a phone without waiting in line at a café, find public tennis courts with lights at night, or ask for recommended stops on a road trip. The AI then scans Google Maps’ database of more than 300 million locations and millions of user reviews to provide tailored suggestions.

Google is also introducing Immersive Navigation, which adds richer 3D previews of routes. The feature shows buildings, terrain, and landmarks in more detail so drivers can better understand upcoming sections of their journey.

It also offers practical information such as parking locations, entrances, and route comparisons. Drivers can see trade-offs between routes, like a faster drive versus one with fewer tolls or lane changes.

The update is rolling out first in the United States and India on Android and iOS devices. Immersive Navigation will expand across the U.S. and later arrive on systems such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and vehicles with Google built-in.

Google says more updates are coming soon, including desktop support for Ask Maps and wider global availability. The move is part of the company’s broader effort to integrate Gemini AI across its services.

With more than two billion monthly users, Google Maps remains one of the world’s most widely used apps. The new update aims to turn it from a simple navigation tool into an AI-powered assistant for everyday travel and local discovery.

Calvin Klein Taps Dakota Johnson for ‘Barely There’ Spring 2026 Campaign

Dakota Johnson has officially become the newest global ambassador for Calvin Klein. The actress stars in the brand’s Spring 2026 Essentials campaign, unveiled on March 9.

Shot by Gordon von Steiner, the campaign takes a stripped-back, intimate approach. Instead of dramatic runway scenes, it follows Johnson through quiet moments at home—reading on the sofa, lounging by the pool, or leaning over a billiards table.

Johnson said the campaign captures a liberating energy. “When a woman is alone at home… it can feel quite liberating and sensual. Channeling that with Calvin Klein felt both singular and classic,” she said.

The campaign showcases the brand’s latest underwear, denim, and outerwear. Key pieces include the Ultralight and Icon Cotton Modal bras, Archive High Rise Slim Jeans, and the Relaxed Trucker Jacket in vintage blue washes.

This marks a new chapter in Johnson’s style evolution, highlighting a raw, “unfiltered” persona. The visuals are part of a global rollout, with billboards and a short film emphasizing that “the sexiest thing a woman can be is just being.”

Johnson joins a prestigious lineup of Calvin Klein faces, including Jennie Kim, Kate Moss, and Kendall Jenner, cementing her place as a modern fashion icon.

Fans are already reacting positively online, praising the minimal and candid aesthetic that sets this campaign apart from traditional high-fashion ads.

The Spring 2026 campaign signals Calvin Klein’s continued focus on simplicity, comfort, and timeless style, with Johnson as its relatable, modern face.

Which Jobs Will AI Take First? Anthropic Has the Answer

A major study from Anthropic, the creator of Claude AI, reveals how artificial intelligence is affecting jobs in real workplaces. The report, Labor Market Impacts of AI: A New Measure and Early Evidence, uses real-world data to show which roles are seeing the most AI task exposure.

The research highlights a gap between AI’s theoretical capabilities and its actual usage. Jobs most exposed to AI include:

AI Task Exposure Leaderboard:

  • Computer Programmers: 74.5%
  • Customer Service Representatives: 70.1%
  • Data Entry Keyers: 67.1%
  • Medical Records Specialists: 66.7%
  • Market Research Analysts: 64.8%
  • Sales Representatives (Wholesale/Manufacturing): 62.8%
  • Financial & Investment Analysts: 57.2%

Conversely, roles that require physical presence, manual skill, or high-stakes human interaction remain largely safe. These include:

“Safe” Career Categories:

  • Trades: Carpentry, plumbing, electrical work
  • Service: Bartenders, cooks, lifeguards
  • Specialized: Motorcycle mechanics, groundskeepers

Importantly, the study does not show mass layoffs. Instead, hiring patterns are changing. Entry-level hiring for workers aged 22–25 in high-exposure roles has dropped by 14% since late 2022, while senior staff are largely unaffected.

The report also notes a shift in the profile of exposed workers: they tend to be female, highly educated, and higher-paid, flipping the historical pattern where automation threatened blue-collar work first.

In technical fields like computer science, AI could theoretically perform 94% of tasks, but it currently handles about 33%, showing adoption is still in early stages.

Anthropic suggests that AI’s current impact is less about replacing workers and more about changing the nature of work—from doing tasks to overseeing AI systems that do them.

“We find limited evidence that AI has affected employment to date… but it could eventually have a seismic effect on many professions.” — Anthropic Research Team

1.2 Million Fans Sign Petition To Save Heeseung’s ENHYPEN Spot

0

Fans of ENHYPEN have launched a massive online campaign after news broke that member Heeseung will leave the group to pursue a solo career.

A Change.org petition asking BELIFT LAB and HYBE to allow Heeseung to do solo work while staying in ENHYPEN has already surpassed 1.23 million signatures in just two days. The petition is written in Korean, Japanese, and English, reflecting the band’s global fanbase.

Supporters say Heeseung is “essential” to ENHYPEN and urge the label to let him balance solo projects with group activities. Many fans point to other K-pop idols who manage both successfully.

BELIFT LAB released a statement explaining their decision. They said focusing fully on a solo career is “the most fulfilling approach” for both Heeseung and the group. Heeseung also shared a personal letter thanking fans and promising to return stronger in the future.

The timing has added to fan concern. ENHYPEN had just scheduled fan-call events where all seven members were expected to participate. Heeseung’s calls were postponed while the remaining six members went ahead.

Heeseung is one of ENHYPEN’s most versatile performers. He is a singer, dancer, pianist, guitarist, songwriter, and composer. He co-wrote tracks on their recent album THE SIN : VANISH, which sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

Despite the split, Heeseung reassured fans that he will continue supporting ENHYPEN while pursuing solo music. Fans are now waiting to see how the label responds to the overwhelming petition.

Sony Quietly Adds New Hardware to the PlayStation Lineup

Sony has released new hardware for the PlayStation 5 in 2026. The company has launched a fresh lineup of DualSense Wireless Controller models through the official PlayStation store.

The new controllers became available on February 25. Prices range between $74 and $84.99 depending on the design and edition.

One of the most notable releases is a limited-edition controller inspired by the popular game Genshin Impact. The special version features a blue, white, and gold design with decorative details based on the game’s world.

Like previous DualSense models, the new controllers include a built-in battery, USB-C charging, and a microphone. They also support haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to create more immersive gameplay.

The controllers work not only with the PS5 but also with PCs, Mac devices, and some mobile platforms. Players can even stream games from their console to Apple devices using the PS Remote Play app.

The DualSense controller first launched alongside the PlayStation 5 in 2020. It replaced the older DualShock 4 and introduced new features designed to make gameplay feel more interactive.

The new hardware arrives during a time of major changes for PlayStation. Sony has recently discussed using generative AI in game development and has also begun shutting down several older PlayStation 4 features as it focuses more on the PS5 platform.

Marvel Introduces New Guardians of the Galaxy — Here’s the Full Team

0

Marvel Comics has revealed a brand-new lineup for the Guardians of the Galaxy in its upcoming Imperial Guardians storyline. The new team brings together several powerful heroes to protect the galaxy during a growing cosmic crisis.

The group forms after the collapse of the Kree-Skrull Alliance and rising conflict across the Marvel universe. The team was secretly assembled by Maximus the Mad as a special operations unit working during the events of the Imperial storyline.

This new version of the Guardians includes Captain Marvel, Gamora, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Brawn, and Darkhawk. Each member brings unique powers and experience to the team.

Captain Marvel acts as the team’s tactical anchor. As a human-Kree hybrid, she can absorb and release massive amounts of energy and fly through space at high speeds. Gamora, often called the deadliest woman in the galaxy, leads the team with her combat skills and superhuman abilities.

Cosmic Ghost Rider is one of the most powerful members. The character combines the Spirit of Vengeance with cosmic powers granted by Galactus, allowing him to use Hellfire and cosmic energy in battle.

Amadeus Cho joins the team as Brawn, using gamma-powered strength and his genius-level intellect to support the group. Darkhawk also plays a key role, using a powerful alien suit that gives him flight, energy shields, and advanced weapons.

Meanwhile, classic Guardians members like Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Drax the Destroyer are currently following their own paths across the Marvel universe. The new team will officially debut in Imperial Guardians #1, released by Marvel in 2026.

Over 13,000 Artists Made $100K+ on Spotify Last Year, Report Says

0

Spotify says more than 1,500 artists earned over $1 million in royalties from the platform in 2025. The numbers come from the company’s latest Loud & Clear report, which explains how streaming money is distributed in the music industry.

The report says Spotify paid out a record $11 billion to the music industry last year. That brings the platform’s total payouts to nearly $70 billion since it launched.

According to the report, more than 13,800 artists generated at least $100,000 from Spotify alone in 2025. That number is about 1,400 higher than the previous year.

At the very top level, around 80 artists each made more than $10 million from Spotify streams. Ten years ago, reaching $10 million in annual royalties on the platform was considered a huge milestone.

Spotify also said earnings have grown across the platform. In 2025, the 100,000th highest-earning artist made more than $7,300 from Spotify. Back in 2015, the same position earned around $350.

However, many musicians and songwriters still criticize streaming payouts. Platforms like Spotify pay labels and publishers first, and those companies then distribute the money to artists and songwriters after taking their share.

Spotify also highlighted global growth in music. In 2025, artists from 75 countries earned more than $500,000 on the platform. Songs in 16 different languages also reached Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart.

Some genres are growing faster than others. The report says Brazilian Funk, K-Pop, Trap Latino, Urban Latino, and Reggaeton were among the fastest-growing genres on the platform in 2025.

Rockstar Quietly Removes GTA 6 IDs From PlayStation Store Database

Rockstar Games has removed internal identifiers for Grand Theft Auto VI from the PlayStation Store database. The change happened in early March 2026 after players discovered the IDs in the system.

Dataminers had found two backend title IDs linked to the game. These were labeled PPSA01547_00 and PPSA29660_00. The discovery quickly spread online.

Soon after, some players used the IDs to exploit a glitch on PlayStation Network and Xbox profiles. The trick made it appear as if they had already played the unreleased game.

To stop the exploit, Rockstar removed the IDs from the database. As a result, the game disappeared from “Recently Played” lists on affected profiles.

Insiders say the move is purely a technical fix. It does not affect the game’s development or marketing plans.

Current reports still point to a November 19, 2026 release date for GTA 6. The game remains one of the most anticipated titles in gaming.

Interestingly, the IDs appearing in the store backend is seen as a positive sign. It suggests storefront setup and possible pre-order preparations are already underway.

For now, Rockstar is staying quiet. But fans expect more official updates as the rumored summer marketing push gets closer.

F1 the Movie Could Be the Sleekest Oscar Contender… But Will It Win?

F1 the Movie, starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski, is now in Oscar conversations.

The film is a slick, high-tech ode to Formula One racing. It puts viewers in the driver’s seat using new camera technology.

While it impresses visually, most experts say it’s a long shot for Best Picture. It’s currently a 200-1 outsider alongside films like The Secret Agent.

Brad Pitt’s performance gives the movie star power, appealing to middle-aged racing fans. But the car, and the sensation of speed, steals the show.

The film has not made the North American top 10 box office of 2025, ranking 14th. Its Apple TV+ release may have limited its cinema impact.

Still, the movie delivers a thrilling ride, similar to Top Gun: Maverick but on four wheels. Kosinski’s direction emphasizes visual spectacle over drama or human struggle.

Winning an Oscar would be a huge upset, but getting a nomination is already a success. For now, fans can enjoy the speed, tech, and Brad Pitt without worrying about a winners’ speech.

Rebecca Ferguson Confirms Silo Season 3 Coming to Apple TV This Summer

Fans of Silo finally have a release window for season 3.

Rebecca Ferguson confirmed on the TODAY show that season 3 will arrive in Summer 2026. She did not give an exact date, but assured viewers it’s coming soon.

Season 3 will adapt parts of Hugh Howey’s second and third books, Shift and Dust. The show will combine these stories to keep main characters like Juliette Nichols in focus.

The upcoming season promises more surprises and bigger stakes. Ferguson teased that the story “gets oddly better and better” as the series progresses.

Season 4 has already finished filming, but Apple TV is spacing out releases. For All Mankind season 5 and its spinoff Star City air first, which means Silo season 3 is likely to arrive in late June, July, or August.

Fans have been waiting over a year since season 2 ended in January 2025. This shorter gap is a welcome change for big-budget sci-fi fans.

Whether it’s June, July, or August, Summer 2026 is the earliest chance to see Juliette and the Silo crew return. Apple TV is keeping the exact date under wraps for now.

Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the premiere.

Apple Plans Three ‘Ultra’ Devices in 2026 – Foldable iPhone Incoming

Apple is planning to release at least three new “Ultra” devices this year.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the company is shifting focus toward high-end products.

The first is the iPhone Ultra. It will be foldable, cost around $2,000, and feature a large inner display and under-screen sensors.

Next is the AirPods Ultra. These will sit above the current AirPods Pro and include computer-vision cameras to give Siri more “Visual Intelligence.”

Apple is also working on a MacBook Ultra. It will have a touchscreen OLED display and cost up to 20% more than current M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pros.

Gurman says Apple may not use the “Ultra” name for all devices, even though it already appears in Apple Watch Ultra, M-series Ultra chips, and CarPlay Ultra.

In the future, other Apple products like the iPad and iMac could also get a “superpremium” Ultra version. This might include a foldable iPad or a larger, more powerful iMac.

Apple is steadily expanding its high-end lineup, giving fans more options at the top of its product range.

Canva’s New ‘Magic Layers’ Feature Lets You Edit AI Images Like Photoshop

Design platform Canva has launched a new AI editing tool that could make image editing much easier for creators.

The feature, called Magic Layers, can turn flat images into fully editable designs. It allows users to select and change individual parts of an image, such as text, objects, or graphics, without starting from scratch.

The tool is currently available in public beta in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. It works with both AI-generated images and regular files like PNG or JPEG.

According to Cameron Adams, Canva’s chief product officer, the goal is to give users more control when editing images. Instead of asking AI to regenerate a whole design, users can simply adjust the part they want.

This approach also solves a common problem with AI images. Most image generators produce flat designs, which means even small changes require creating a new image from a prompt.

Magic Layers separates those images into different components while keeping the original layout. That makes it easier to move, edit, or replace individual elements inside the design.

The feature also puts Canva ahead of some competitors. Tools in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express can place AI-generated content in layers, but they cannot automatically split an entire image into editable parts.

With generative AI becoming more common in design tools, Canva’s new feature could give creators more flexibility when working with AI-generated visuals.

Netflix Officially Begins Production On Its ‘Assassin’s Creed’ TV Show

Netflix has officially started production on its live-action Assassin’s Creed series.

The show is based on the hugely popular Assassin’s Creed franchise created by Ubisoft, one of the most successful sci-fi gaming series ever made.

Reports say filming has now begun in Italy. Production is expected to continue for several months, which means the show is unlikely to release anytime in 2026.

Instead, the series will most likely arrive on Netflix sometime in 2027 once filming and post-production are finished.

The story will follow the classic conflict between the Assassins and the Templars, a central theme throughout the games. However, Netflix has not yet revealed the exact time period where the show will take place.

Several actors have already joined the cast, including Toby Wallace, Tanzyn Crawford, and Lola Petticrew.

The series is being written for television by David Wiener and Roberto Patino, who will help bring the iconic game world to life on screen.

With filming now underway, fans of the long-running gaming franchise finally have their first real sign that Netflix’s ambitious Assassin’s Creed series is moving forward.

‘The Boys’ Universe Is Growing Again With A New Project

Fans of The Boys are about to get new content sooner than expected.

A brand-new VR game called The Boys: Trigger Warning has officially been announced. The game will release on March 26, just weeks before the show’s final season arrives.

The project is being developed by Arvore Immersive and is set in the same world as the hit Prime Video series. Players will step into the role of a new hero named Lucas, who becomes caught in a violent conflict with the powerful company Vought.

In the story, Lucas will work alongside familiar characters like Billy Butcher and Mother’s Milk as they take on the corrupt superhero system. The game promises the same dark tone and brutal action that fans know from the series.

The VR game is already available for pre-order on Meta Quest and PlayStation VR. It will launch just days before the final season of The Boys begins streaming.

Season 5 of The Boys is set to premiere on April 6 on Prime Video. The show stars Antony Starr as Homelander, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, and Jack Quaid as Hughie.

The franchise is also expanding with other projects. The spin-off series Gen V has already been released, and a new prequel show titled Vought Rising is currently in development.

With a new game arriving this month and the final season on the way, fans of The Boys have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks.

Spider-Man Villain Tombstone Confirmed For Two Major Marvel Projects In 2026

A major Spider-Man villain is finally heading to live-action, and fans will see him sooner than expected.

The villain Tombstone will appear in the upcoming Prime Video series Spider-Noir, before he shows up in Marvel’s next Spider-Man movie. The character is also set to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland, which releases later in 2026.

The confirmation came after artist Jorge Molina shared new posters for the show. When fans asked about a mystery character dressed in purple, Molina confirmed it was Tombstone, a well-known villain from the Spider-Man comics.

Tombstone, whose real name is Lonnie Lincoln, is a powerful crime boss who has often clashed with Spider-Man. In the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the character will be played by Marvin Jones III.

However, the Prime Video series will introduce the villain first. The show is set in a darker 1930s version of New York and follows a different Spider-Man story. Actor Nicolas Cage will lead the series, though his version of Spider-Man will reportedly be a new take on Ben Reilly rather than Peter Parker.

There are also hints that actor Abraham Popoola could be playing Tombstone in the series, although the role has not been officially confirmed yet.

The series Spider-Noir will premiere in the United States on MGM+ on May 25, before releasing globally on Prime Video on May 27. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will arrive in cinemas on July 31.

With two major projects featuring the same villain within months of each other, 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for Tombstone and the wider Spider-Man universe.

Global K-pop group BTS has teamed up with Spotify to launch a new fan campaign ahead of their upcoming album.

The partnership, called “SWIMSIDE,” was announced on March 10 and will include special in-app experiences, exclusive content, and pop-up events for fans around the world.

The campaign is designed to build excitement for BTS’ upcoming album ARIRANG, which is set to release on March 20, 2026. The project marks the group’s major comeback after several years without a full studio album.

One key part of the campaign is an interactive Spotify experience called “Decoding ARIRANG.” It launches on March 13 and acts as a countdown event leading up to the album release.

The campaign takes its name from the album’s lead single SWIM, which was co-written by BTS leader RM along with several international producers.

The upcoming album carries strong cultural meaning. The title ARIRANG references one of Korea’s most famous folk songs and reflects themes of identity, heritage, and the group’s global journey.

With special content, fan experiences, and global events planned, the “SWIMSIDE” campaign shows how Spotify and BTS are turning the album launch into a major worldwide moment for fans.

HBO Max Could Shut Down by 2027 After Major Streaming Merger

The possible shutdown of HBO Max is raising new questions across the streaming industry.

Following the acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount Skydance in March 2026, analysts believe HBO Max could be closed by the end of 2027. The plan is to merge the platform with Paramount+ to create a larger streaming service.

The combined platform could reach more than 200 million direct-to-consumer subscribers. David Ellison, chairman and CEO of Paramount Skydance, said the move could help the company compete with the biggest streaming platforms.

However, experts say the process will not be simple. Streaming analyst Dan Rayburn said merging two major services requires major technical work and planning, which could take years.

Rayburn also warned that layoffs could happen as companies reorganize teams and technology systems during the merger.

There are still many uncertainties about the deal. The merger between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery has not yet been fully finalized and could face regulatory challenges.

For now, HBO Max and Paramount+ remain separate platforms. But the future of popular shows and franchises on both services could depend on how the merger unfolds in the coming years.

Spotify Deletes Millions of Streams in Bot Crackdown

Several artists recently saw millions of their streams disappear from Spotify after the platform launched a major crackdown on artificial streaming.

According to Spotify, artificial streams are plays that do not reflect real listener intent. This can include automated systems, bots, or other methods used to inflate streaming numbers.

The crackdown affected multiple high-profile artists, including Doechii and Jimin from BTS. Reports say millions of streams were removed from their totals as Spotify cleaned up suspicious activity on the platform.

Spotify’s policy states that artificial streams do not count toward public stream numbers, charts, or royalty payments. The company says the move is part of a wider effort to protect artists and ensure fair payouts.

The issue of fake streams has been a growing problem in the music industry. Some artists and labels have been accused of using bots to increase their popularity or boost chart positions.

Spotify’s latest action has started a wider discussion about how streaming numbers are measured and how technology, including artificial intelligence, may affect the future of music.

Industry experts say stricter controls may help protect the integrity of streaming data. But the debate over fairness, transparency, and artist earnings is likely to continue.

New Laws Could Block Millions From Playing GTA 6 Online

Millions of gamers could face problems playing the online mode of Grand Theft Auto VI when it launches later this year.

The highly anticipated game from Rockstar Games is expected to release in November 2026. At first, players will focus on the single-player story mode, while the online multiplayer mode will arrive later.

However, new laws in some countries could make it harder for players to access online features. Reports say new age-verification rules may require players to prove they are old enough before joining multiplayer games rated for adults.

One of the key examples is Australia, where new regulations require players to verify their age before accessing 18+ multiplayer content. This could affect GTA Online, both the current version and the future version linked to GTA 6.

Similar rules are also appearing in the United Kingdom. These systems may require official ID checks or even facial scans to confirm a player’s age before they can access online features.

The rules do not affect single-player games. Players will still be able to play the story mode of Grand Theft Auto VI without age verification.

Still, the new systems have sparked concerns among gamers. Some players worry about privacy and how their personal data, including biometric information, might be used or stored.

Despite the concerns, analysts expect GTA 6 to become one of the biggest game launches ever. But for some players around the world, accessing the online mode may not be as simple as it once was.
