The new Xreal One Pro augmented reality (AR) glasses deliver an impressive virtual 220-inch screen experience, offering users a powerful tool for productivity and entertainment on the go. Priced at $649, with an optional $99 Xreal Eye accessory, these glasses stand out thanks to their bright display, wide field of view, and comfort.

Powered by the Xreal X1 spatial computing chip, the glasses do not require special software to enable advanced functions. Users can easily connect to laptops, tablets, or gaming devices through a USB-C cable to access an ultra-wide virtual screen that rivals traditional multi-monitor setups. This makes it particularly useful for remote workers and frequent travelers seeking a portable multitasking solution.

The Xreal One Pro features a 57-degree field of view—the widest among consumer AR devices—enabled by innovative flat prism optics. While the glasses add some bulk compared to standard eyewear, adjustable nose pads and lightweight design ensure comfortable wear over long periods.

Audio is enhanced through collaboration with Bose, providing clear sound without the need for earbuds, making them ideal for use in public spaces like trains or airplanes. For noisy environments such as airplanes, noise-canceling headphones are recommended.

The optional Xreal Eye accessory adds 6DoF (six degrees of freedom) support, allowing users to anchor virtual workspaces and capture photos or videos in augmented reality. This enhances immersion and usability, bringing the experience closer to higher-end devices like Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3.

User controls are intuitive, with buttons for toggling display modes, adjusting screen size and distance, and switching lens transparency. This flexibility allows seamless transitions between virtual workspaces and real-world interactions.

Though the glasses are on the pricier side, they offer a significant productivity boost and immersive media experience at a fraction of the cost of multiple physical monitors. With continuous software updates planned, the Xreal One Pro sets a new benchmark for portable extended reality devices.
