A reported leak suggests that the upcoming “Extended Look” at Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), expected to stream on Netflix later this month, could be presented as a multi-episode feature.
According to an image shared online, Netflix’s Portugal platform appears to list the GTA 6 presentation as having three separate episodes. The showcase is scheduled for 27 August 2026, although neither Rockstar Games nor Netflix has confirmed the structure of the event.
The image, which circulated on Reddit, shows three episodes with approximate runtimes of 22 minutes, 24 minutes, and 16 minutes. However, its authenticity remains unclear, as similar AI-generated images and false leaks have been widely reported within the gaming community.
Despite the uncertainty, the claim aligns with earlier comments from Take-Two Interactive chief executive Strauss Zelnick. He previously said the Extended Look would feel “more like watching a Netflix show” rather than a traditional game trailer, hinting at a different presentation style.
Earlier reports had suggested the showcase would run for around 30 minutes in total, after what users described as a temporary display glitch on Netflix’s app. The newly surfaced image, if accurate, would indicate a longer and more segmented format.
Fans have speculated about the possible content of each episode. Some believe one segment may focus on gameplay, while others could highlight the game’s two main protagonists, Jason and Lucia. These details, however, remain unverified.
Industry observers say a multi-episode format would be an unusual approach for a video game reveal, potentially blending entertainment and marketing in a new way. Rockstar Games has not commented on the rumours, and no official clarification is expected before the scheduled presentation.
