The two children of late rapper Nipsey Hussle have received their shares of his multimillion-dollar estate, according to newly filed court documents.
The documents, obtained by TMZ, show that Nipsey Hussle’s daughter, 17-year-old Emani, and his 9-year-old son, Kross, were each paid a share of the estate in cash and other assets. The exact amounts remain sealed by the court.
The estate, which has been estimated to be worth around $11 million, has been managed by Nipsey Hussle’s brother, Blacc Sam, since the rapper’s death in 2019.
According to the court filings, the children each received 50% of the inheritance. Assets included a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban, ownership interests in businesses such as The Marathon Clothing, and various trademarks.
Kross’ mother, Lauren London, signed a document confirming that she had received the funds distributed on behalf of her son.
The distribution follows years of legal disputes involving Emani’s mother, Tanisha Foster, and Blacc Sam over the management of the estate. The parties reached a resolution last year.
Nipsey Hussle, born Ermias Asghedom, was shot and killed outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles in March 2019. He was 33 years old. His death prompted an outpouring of tributes from fans, fellow artists, and public figures, and his legacy continues through his music, business ventures, and community work.
