The highly anticipated second season of HBO’s hit series The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, now has an official release date: April 13, 2025.

Fans of the show are eagerly waiting to see the next chapter in the post-apocalyptic journey of Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they navigate an even more dangerous world.

The first season, which closely followed the story of the first The Last of Us video game, captivated audiences worldwide with its intense action and emotional depth. Season two will dive into the events of the second game, bringing with it a significant time jump of five years.

As Joel and Ellie continue their survival journey, they will face new challenges, including hordes of zombies and hostile factions. The season will introduce new characters, including Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, and Young Mazino as Jesse.

Other cast members joining the season include Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny.

In addition, Catherine O’Hara will make a guest appearance in a currently undisclosed role, and Jeffrey Wright will return as Issac, the ruthless leader of the Washington Liberation faction from The Last of Us Part 2.

With the second season, fans can expect even more thrilling, emotional, and action-packed moments as The Last of Us continues to captivate audiences.
