Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that The Batman Part II will begin production this year.
Speaking at the Golden Globes, where The Penguin was nominated for three awards, Reeves told Deadline that the cameras will start rolling soon.
While he did not provide an exact date, he expressed excitement about the film’s progress.
Although Reeves couldn’t reveal plot details, he teased that the sequel will build on the previous story while offering surprises for fans.
The Batman Part II was originally announced in April 2022 but faced several delays, with its release now set for October 2027.

Despite setbacks, including script issues and Robert Pattinson’s involvement in The Odyssey, Reeves’ confirmation that production will begin this year brings hope to fans.
