Spider-Man Set to Appear in 5 Upcoming Marvel Projects

Marvel and Sony have confirmed that Spider-Man will appear in five upcoming movies and TV shows over the next few years.

The web-slinger will return to screens after his last live-action appearance in 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

The Five Spider-Man Projects

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Tom Holland returns as Peter Parker in this movie hitting theaters July 31, 2026. Director Destin Daniel Cretton takes over from Jon Watts. Zendaya and Sadie Sink are confirmed to appear, with rumors suggesting Mr. Negative as the main villain.

Spider-Noir

Nicolas Cage will star as Spider-Man Noir in this eight-episode series on MGM+. The show features an aging private investigator who was once a superhero in 1930s New York. Cage previously voiced this character in the Spider-Verse animated films.

Spidey and His Amazing Friends Season 4

This Disney Jr. preschool series features Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy. After airing Season 3 episodes in April, the show has been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2

This Disney+ animated series will return in 2026 with Hudson Thames voicing Peter Parker. It takes place in its own universe with some similarities to the MCU.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse

This animated sequel continues the story from 2023’s “Across the Spider-Verse,” which ended with Miles Morales meeting an evil variant of himself. After production delays, a trailer was recently shown at CinemaCon.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man may also appear in “Avengers: Doomsday” (May 1, 2026) and “Avengers: Secret Wars” (May 7, 2027), though these roles are likely to be smaller appearances.
