Marvel Studios is building towards its next big movie, Avengers: Doomsday, which is set to feature more exciting cameos and returns.
The movie will focus on the multiverse and the fate of countless worlds, bringing together both familiar and new characters.
Marvel has already introduced some big surprises in the past, such as Patrick Stewart returning as Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Now, it looks like more X-Men stars are set to appear.
Marvel insider Alex Perez shared some exciting news during a Q&A on The Cosmic Circus. He revealed that Professor X and Beast are confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday. He also mentioned that Channing Tatum’s Gambit might make a return as well.
These characters have already appeared in the MCU in small roles, so their return makes sense as the Multiverse Saga comes to an end. Professor X was seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness wearing his iconic green suit and yellow chair.
Beast, played by Kelsey Grammer, appeared in a post-credits scene in The Marvels, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit finally made his debut in Deadpool 3.
With Marvel planning to introduce its own X-Men soon, it seems fitting that the end of the Multiverse Saga will honor the original mutants.
These stars will join a long list of big names returning for Avengers: Doomsday, including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, and more. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how it all unfolds.
