Olivia Dunne surprised the crowd by performing an unexpected split on the runway at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show on May 31.
The 22-year-old gymnast and former LSU Tigers star went viral after confidently walking in a black-and-white bikini, then suddenly dropping into a split at the edge of the stage.
Dunne later revealed the reason behind her move: “I got triple dog dared,” she wrote on X, referencing the playful but serious dare.
Despite battling a fractured kneecap, Dunne pulled off the stunt with ease. In a behind-the-scenes video, she confirmed that some poses for the magazine shoot were painful but worth it.
Earlier in March, she was sidelined with an avulsion fracture of her patella, missing her final competition with LSU.
