BTS’ Jin is making headlines with the upcoming release of his new single “Don’t Say You Love Me” from his second solo album Echo, out May 16. One teaser poster shows Jin running hand-in-hand with a mystery girl — and fans want to know who she is.

According to South Korean media, the girl in the video is none other than actress Shin Se-kyung. She is well-known for her roles in dramas like Run On, Arthdal Chronicles, Black Knight, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, and Captivating the King.

Fans have quickly praised the chemistry between Jin and Shin Se-kyung in the teaser. Their appearance together has sparked a wave of theories about the music video’s storyline and emotional tone.

“Don’t Say You Love Me” explores themes of love and longing and is part of an album that promises to show Jin’s personal growth and deeper vocal style. His agency described Echo as an album that reflects “universal life experiences” with warmth and sincerity.

Meanwhile, Jin is also making waves with his variety show Run Seok Jin, where he is reportedly collaborating with Hollywood actor Tom Cruise. While unconfirmed, Cruise’s recent visit to South Korea seems to match with the show’s filming schedule.

With Echo’s release just around the corner, fans are excited not just for the music, but also for the touching visuals and storyline hinted at in the teaser — and Shin Se-kyung’s role is now a key part of that buzz.
