The re-release of Interstellar has surpassed $25 million globally, with $15 million coming from domestic theaters.

The film, initially shown in around 165 theaters, expanded to 320 locations in its second week. Remarkably, it has stayed in the top five at the domestic box office throughout its run.

On Tuesday, Interstellar earned $1.2 million, out-grossing Gladiator II which earned around $915,000.

Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Matthew McConaughey, Interstellar was originally released a decade ago.

It earned positive reviews, particularly for its scientific accuracy, IMAX cinematography, and Hans Zimmer’s score.

Despite a modest 73% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it has since gained a cult following.

If you missed the re-release, Interstellar is available for streaming on Paramount+.
