YouTuber MrBeast and Thea Booysen Are Engaged

YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has announced his engagement to girlfriend Thea Booysen.

The couple shared the news on Instagram, with Donaldson posting a photo of himself kneeling during the proposal.

Booysen also shared a video of the moment, showing off her diamond engagement ring, both wearing matching MrBeast-themed Christmas sweaters. The proposal took place on Christmas Day, with both families present for the occasion.

Booysen, originally from South Africa, recalled the moment in an interview, saying Donaldson asked her to close her eyes before presenting the surprise gift. She expressed her excitement and joy, saying, “Of course, I said yes.”

The couple met in 2022 through a mutual friend in South Africa, and their relationship quickly grew. They made their red carpet debut at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards that same year and later went public with their relationship on Instagram.

Donaldson is known for his popular YouTube channel and reality TV show Beast Games, while Booysen is a content creator in the esports and gaming community.
