Apple TV+ has shown strong confidence in its new drama “Your Friends & Neighbors” by renewing it for a second season before the first season even premieres.

The show stars Jon Hamm as Andrew ‘Coop’ Cooper, a disgraced hedge fund manager who turns to burglarizing his wealthy neighbors’ homes after losing his job and going through a divorce. His criminal activities lead him to uncover dangerous secrets in his upscale community of Westmont Village.

The first season will start streaming on April 11, 2024, with two episodes releasing that day. After that, new episodes will come out weekly until May 30.

Series creator Jonathan Tropper expressed excitement about the early renewal, saying he had envisioned this show for years. The cast includes well-known actors Amanda Peet and Olivia Munn, along with Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, and others.

Craig Gillespie, known for directing popular films, will direct the first two episodes. The nine-episode first season will also feature episodes directed by Stephanie Laing, Greg Yaitanes, and Tropper himself.
