The Addams family is returning to Nevermore Academy, and Wednesday Season 2 is bringing both familiar faces and exciting new stars to the screen.

With Jenna Ortega leading the cast once again, the upcoming season promises to be darker, more intense, and full of new twists. Here’s a look at the confirmed cast for Season 2 and what fans can expect.

Jenna Ortega Returns as Wednesday Addams

Jenna Ortega reprises her breakout role as Wednesday Addams, the sharp, emotionless teen with psychic abilities. This time, she’s not just starring but also working behind the scenes as a producer. Ortega has hinted at a more horror-focused season, saying the story will shift away from romance and dive into action, suspense, and mystery.

Returning Cast Members

Catherine Zeta-Jones is back as Morticia Addams, Wednesday’s elegant yet eerie mother. Luis Guzmán returns as her devoted father, Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez is once again playing Pugsley, Wednesday’s younger brother. Victor Dorobantu also returns as Thing, the beloved disembodied hand who’s always by Wednesday’s side.

New Faces at Nevermore

One of the biggest surprises this season is the addition of Lady Gaga in a new and mysterious role. While Netflix has not revealed details, her appearance has sparked huge excitement among fans.

Another major newcomer is Steve Buscemi, who joins the cast as Nevermore Academy’s new principal — a character likely to play a key role in the new storyline.

Other new characters include Bruno, Karloff, Wolfgang, and Annie, each of whom is expected to add fresh layers to the dark world of Nevermore.

Who’s Not Returning

While many key characters are back, not everyone from Season 1 will return. Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, has confirmed his exit from the series. Naomi J. Ogawa, who portrayed Yoko Tanaka, is also not expected to return in Season 2.

A Darker Season Ahead

With new cast additions and a shift toward a horror-driven plot, Wednesday Season 2 is shaping up to be bolder and more chilling than ever. The cast lineup reflects this change, blending iconic returns with fresh faces ready to shake things up at Nevermore.

Wednesday Season 2 premieres in two parts — Part One on August 6, and Part Two on September 3, exclusively on Netflix.
