Get ready for more raunchy superhero mayhem, as Amazon Prime Video’s hit series The Boys has officially been renewed for a fifth season!
The announcement came at Prime Video’s upfront presentation to advertisers on May 14, 2024.
Season 4 Sets Up Epic Showdown
The renewal comes just a month before the highly anticipated premiere of The Boys season 4 on June 13, 2024. Season 4 will see an epic war kick off between Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the villainous Homelander (Antony Starr), as Butcher plans to release a deadly virus targeting superhumans.
What Season 5 Could Bring
While plot details are still under wraps, season 5 is expected to deal with the fallout and post-apocalyptic effects of Butcher’s virus on mankind. The fates of fan-favorite characters like Hughie (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and the other members of The Boys remain unknown.
