In 2026, Tom Holland will face off against himself at the box office. The actor will star in two major films: Spider-Man 4 and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

Both movies are set to release just one week apart, making for a thrilling competition between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Nolan’s blockbuster.

Spider-Man 4, the next chapter in the Spider-Man franchise, will see Holland return as Peter Parker. This follows the massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide.

Fans are eager to see what’s next for Spider-Man, making this film a likely hit. On the other hand, Nolan’s The Odyssey, starring Holland alongside big names like Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson, is expected to be another box office success.

Nolan’s previous films, such as Inception and Oppenheimer, have been both critically acclaimed and commercially successful. This makes The Odyssey a strong contender, but it will have a tough time competing with the global appeal of Spider-Man.

While Spider-Man 4 is likely to gross over $1 billion, Nolan’s movie could still be a game-changer for Holland.

Playing the lead role in a non-Marvel film could help Holland expand his career outside of superhero movies, something he hasn’t done much of yet.
