Marvel’s Spider-Man 4 will debut under the working title “Blue Oasis,” setting the stage for Tom Holland’s next solo adventure.

Scheduled for July 24, 2026, the film will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and positioned between Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

The production comes after the massive success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which grossed nearly $2 billion globally. Cretton, previously known for Shang-Chi, takes over directing duties from Jon Watts, who helmed the first three Spider-Man films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The working title “Blue Oasis” subtly references the Spider-Man: Blue comic run, potentially hinting at the film’s emotional depth. It may explore Peter Parker’s psychological state after the events that left him forgotten by the world. Holland has previously teased the story’s compelling narrative, suggesting a deeply personal approach to the character.

While specific plot details remain confidential, sources indicate that the film will continue to explore the Multiverse Saga. This makes Spider-Man 4 a crucial entry in Marvel’s interconnected storytelling, especially as the only confirmed solo film in the timeframe of the upcoming Avengers movies.

Fans can look forward to seeing Holland return as Peter Parker, with filming expected to begin in early 2025. The movie promises to be a significant chapter in the web-slinger’s ongoing cinematic journey.
