Have you ever felt that empty, lost feeling after finishing a show as captivating as LOST? I know the feeling all too well.

That’s why I’ve put together this list of 9 shows that will fill the LOST-shaped hole in your heart.

    Yellowjackets (2021-Present)

If you’re craving the same mysterious island vibes as LOST, Yellowjackets is a must-watch. This survival drama follows a girls’ high school soccer team whose plane crashes in the wilderness, forcing them to fend for themselves. Like LOST, it flashes between the characters’ time on the island and their lives 25 years later. Prepare to be hooked by the dark twists and turns.

    The Leftovers (2014-2017)

For a more cerebral, character-driven take on the mysterious disappearance premise, check out The Leftovers. After 2% of the world’s population vanishes without a trace, the show follows the people left behind as they grapple with grief, trauma, and the search for answers. It has the same emotional depth and narrative complexity as LOST.

    Dark (2017-2020)

If you loved LOST’s mind-bending time travel elements, Dark is the show for you. This German sci-fi thriller weaves a tangled web of mystery as it jumps between different time periods in a small town. Like LOST, it rewards viewers who are willing to put in the mental effort to piece together the puzzle. Prepare to have your brain twisted in knots.

    The 4400 (2004-2007, 2021-2022)

Another show that explores the sudden reappearance of missing people, The 4400 follows individuals who vanished over the past 60 years and are returned to Earth with special abilities. It has the same sense of wonder and speculation about the unexplained as LOST.

    From (2022-Present)

If you’re after a show that’s just as baffling and creepy as LOST’s smoke monster, From is worth checking out. It centers on a small town that traps anyone who enters, with the residents struggling to uncover its sinister secrets. The mystery box elements will have you hooked.

    Severance (2022-Present)

For a more cerebral, mind-bending take on the LOST formula, Severance is a must-watch. This thriller follows employees at a mysterious company who have undergone a severance procedure that separates their work and personal memories. Like LOST, it’s full of unanswered questions that will keep you theorizing.

    The 100 (2014-2020)

With its complex, flawed characters and mystery-driven plot, The 100 shares a lot in common with LOST. It’s a post-apocalyptic sci-fi series that follows a group of young survivors as they navigate a harsh new world, facing both external threats and internal conflicts. If you loved LOST’s blend of survival drama and sci-fi, this is one to check out.

    Fringe (2008-2013)

Fans of LOST’s sci-fi elements and overarching mystery will find a lot to love in Fringe. This J.J. Abrams-produced series follows an FBI team investigating strange phenomena, delving into parallel universes and government conspiracies. Like LOST, it has a dedicated fanbase who are still debating the show’s many twists and turns.

    Westworld (2016-Present)

For a more high-concept, philosophical take on the LOST formula, Westworld is a great option. This HBO series explores the implications of artificial intelligence and the nature of consciousness, all while unraveling a complex, non-linear narrative. If you’re after mind-bending twists and turns, this one’s for you.

Whether you’re craving the same sense of mystery, the complex character development, or the sheer addictiveness of LOST, these 9 shows are sure to fill that void. So grab some snacks, get cozy, and prepare to be captivated all over again.
