Severance’s second season has quickly become a hit, surpassing the acclaim of the first season for one major reason: its perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

While the first season was highly praised with a solid 97% score, the follow-up has taken things to a new level, earning rave reviews across the board.

The sci-fi drama, which premiered in 2022, captivated audiences with its darkly comedic yet gripping storyline.

The series follows workers who have been “severed” from their personal lives and can only remember their time at the office.

Adam Scott stars as Mark, who, along with his colleagues, embarks on a mission to uncover the truth about their lives outside the office.

Season 2 picks up after some shocking revelations and continues the suspenseful narrative. Early reviews have called it a “flawless showcase of craft, performance, and taut storytelling”, with Dexerto describing it as an “astounding achievement.”

Entertainment Weekly praised the season as “more than worth the wait,” calling it a briskly paced and timely exploration of personhood.

For those who haven’t yet subscribed to Apple TV+, now might be the perfect time to join the fanbase as Severance season 2 continues to captivate viewers.
