Severance Season 2

The much-anticipated second season of Severance is coming to Apple TV+ on January 17, 2024. A new trailer, unveiled at the CCXP24 convention in São Paulo, gives fans a glimpse of what’s next for Mark (Adam Scott) and his team.

The trailer picks up after the shocking season one finale, showing Mark, Helly (Britt Lower), Irv (John Turturro), and Dylan (Zach Cherry) back at Lumon Industries.

They’re now public figures for “severance reform,” but Mark remains determined to uncover the truth about Lumon, especially regarding his wife, Gemma/Miss Casey (Dichen Lachman).

A Deeper Dive into Lumon’s Secrets

Apple describes the season as exploring “the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier.” The refiners are still grappling with the revelations from their “Outie” lives. Mark, in particular, is driven by questions about his wife’s mysterious role.

The trailer also introduces new characters played by Sarah Bock and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, adding further intrigue to the plot.

Returning Cast and Crew

In addition to Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, and Patricia Arquette, season two welcomes back Christopher Walken, Jen Tullock, and Michael Chernus. The show is created by Dan Erickson and directed in part by Ben Stiller, who helms five episodes this season.

Season two promises to answer lingering questions while deepening the show’s exploration of identity, memory, and control. Fans can catch the new season exclusively on Apple TV+ starting January 17.
