Rihanna Supports A$AP Rocky at His Trial for Alleged Shooting Incident

Rihanna attended the trial of her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, who is accused of shooting at his former friend, A$AP Relli, in 2021.

The court proceedings, which began on January 24, 2025, saw intense moments, especially during the cross-examination of the accuser, A$AP Relli.

    Accuser’s Testimony Under Scrutiny

During his second day on the witness stand, Relli testified that he was shot at by Rocky on a Hollywood street, claiming his hand was injured in the incident.

He showed photos of the scrapes on his knuckles, but defense attorney Joe Tacopina challenged the timing of Relli’s medical treatment, pointing out that he didn’t seek help until two days later.

Tacopina suggested that Relli’s injury may have been exaggerated for a civil lawsuit seeking money from Rocky.

    Rihanna’s Court Appearance

Rihanna made her third appearance in court on February 1, 2025, sitting beside Rocky’s mother after entering through a public entrance.

She left the courtroom separately after the lunch break, expressing that she was doing fine when questioned by a reporter.

Defense Strategy and Tensions in Court

The defense team has suggested that the gun used in the shooting was a starter pistol carrying blanks and not a real firearm.

They argued that Relli knew about this, but Relli denied ever seeing Rocky with a gun. This disagreement and tense exchanges between the prosecution and defense led to a heated argument in court.

    A$AP Rocky’s Future at Stake

The charges against A$AP Rocky include two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, which carry a maximum sentence of 24 years in prison.

With Rihanna by his side and the trial ongoing, the outcome of the case could have significant personal and professional consequences for the rapper.
