PlayStation fans have been waiting for big announcements from Sony, but the company has been unusually quiet about its upcoming games.

Despite having numerous talented first-party developers, only a few titles have been officially confirmed.

A reader took it upon themselves to dig into what Sony might be working on, revealing a list of at least 16 games currently in development. Here’s a breakdown of what we know so far.

    Confirmed and Rumored Games:

    Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
Naughty Dog revealed this new sci-fi game at The Game Awards. It’s a fresh IP, and while details are scarce, it’s sure to attract attention with the studio’s reputation.

The Last of Us Part 3
Naughty Dog has hinted at working on multiple single-player games, and it’s hard to believe that a third entry in the Last of Us series isn’t in the works. Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation.

    Santa Monica Studio New IP
The creators of God of War are reportedly working on a new IP, with job listings suggesting a possible sci-fi theme. Details remain a mystery.

    New God of War
A new God of War game seems inevitable, especially after job listings for the project surfaced. It could be a sequel or a spin-off, but either way, it’s a highly anticipated title.

    Ghost of Yōtei
This game has been officially announced and is confirmed to release this year. It’s the only title on the list with a confirmed release window.

    Bend Studio New IP
The makers of Days Gone are working on a new open-world game, but it’s not a sequel to Days Gone. The studio is exploring fresh ideas.

    Marvel’s Wolverine
This highly anticipated superhero game was officially announced, but development issues, including a hack, have delayed progress. It’s hoped that the game will still launch this year.

    Venom Game
Rumors suggest this could be a spin-off like Miles Morales, but since the voice actor passed away, it’s unclear if this game will still be made.

    Bluepoint Games New IP
After their successful Demon’s Souls remake, Bluepoint Games is working on a new IP. Fans are excited to see what the studio does next.

    Fairgame$
This new live-service game has been officially announced, though it has yet to generate much excitement.

    Horizon Multiplayer Game
There have been rumors about a Horizon multiplayer game for some time. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s still in development after the failure of Concord.

    Horizon 3
Given Guerrilla Games’ focus on the Horizon series, it’s almost certain that Horizon 3 is their next big project, even though it hasn’t been officially announced.

    Media Molecule New IP
Despite being known for LittleBigPlanet, Media Molecule is working on a new, undisclosed IP. Fans are curious about what the studio will create next.

    Housemarque New IP
The creators of Returnal have yet to announce their next project, but they’ve confirmed they’re working on a new IP, which has fans excited.

    Gran Turismo 8
Gran Turismo is a staple of PlayStation, and it’s only a matter of time before Gran Turismo 8 is revealed. Polyphony Digital is almost certainly working on something new.

    What’s Next?

Despite the quiet period, Sony is clearly working on a number of exciting titles. From Naughty Dog’s sci-fi adventure to Gran Turismo 8, there’s plenty to look forward to.

The big question remains: when will Sony start revealing these projects? Fans are eagerly awaiting official announcements and hoping for a more transparent 2025.
