Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s Netflix romantic comedy series “Nobody Wants This” is gearing up for its second season. The stars recently revealed at a Netflix FYC event that filming will begin in February next year.
The show, which became an unexpected hit, tells the story of a recently single rabbi played by Brody who falls for a non-Jewish sex podcast host portrayed by Bell.
The series found particular success with an unusual demographic – Bell noted that many viewers discovered the show through recommendations from their fathers, with men in their 50s and 60s being particularly enthusiastic fans. Even Formula One Mercedes CEO Toto Wolff told Bell he binged the show with his kids.
For the upcoming season, the series has brought on new showrunners Jenny Connor and Bruce Eric Kaplan. Bell assured fans that Season 2 will maintain the show’s original charm, promising there won’t be any drastic changes to the format.
