    Sony aired its June 2025 State of Play on June 4, showing off many new and returning games coming to PlayStation consoles.

    The event featured new trailers, release dates, and exciting announcements for PS5 and PS VR2 players.


    ✅ New Game Announcements & Reveals

    MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls – A stylish new tag-team fighter by Arc System Works and Marvel Games, releasing 2026.

    007 First Light – A third-person action game telling a James Bond origin story, coming next year.

    Nioh 3 – Officially revealed for PS5, with two combat styles and a limited-time demo available now.

    Romeo is a Dead Man – An action game from Grasshopper Manufacture where you’re a space-time FBI agent, releasing next year.

    Sea of Remnants – Pirate-themed oceanic RPG with evolving cities and custom crew, coming to PS5.

    Tides of Tomorrow – A unique asynchronous multiplayer adventure, arrives Feb 24, 2026.

    Neon Odyssey: Drift Core – A fast-paced hovercar combat racer with heavy synthwave vibes, coming Spring 2026.

    Arkfall: Black Zone – Open-world sci-fi survival shooter with base-building and PvPvE, launching early 2026.


    ? Remakes, Sequels & Updates

    Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles – Remastered version coming September 30 with improved visuals and voice acting.

    Silent Hill f – Launches September 25 with a new gameplay trailer.

    Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater – New trailer shows Cobra Unit and confirms Snake vs Monkey mini-game returning. Launches August 28.

    Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection – A massive classic collection with games and documentaries, coming later this year.

    Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound – A side-scrolling reboot from The Game Kitchen, out July 31.

    Death Stranding 2: On the Beach – Gets a new story trailer and release window of March 2026.

    Oni Loop – 2D pixel-art brawler with roguelike elements, available October 10.

    Lumines Arise – New entry in the classic puzzle series, PS5 and optional PS VR2 support.

    Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow – Classic stealth game reimagined for PS VR2, launching late 2025.

    Pragmata – Capcom’s sci-fi title gets new gameplay and is set for release in 2026.

    Project Defiant – PlayStation’s first official wireless fight stick, coming next year.

    NovaDreamer – A lucid dream exploration simulator, playable in flat and VR modes, coming December.

    Deus Ex (PS2) – Joins Game Catalog June 17.

    Twisted Metal 3 & 4 – Coming to Premium Classics July 15.

    Ghost of Yōtei – A special State of Play episode will focus on this game in July, with deep dives into combat and exploration.
