Marvel has announced two new Avengers films: Avengers: Doomsday, set for release in May 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars, arriving in May 2027.
Directed by the Russo Brothers, these films will pivot from the previously planned Kang Dynasty due to the recasting of Kang after Jonathan Majors’ legal issues.
In a surprising twist, Robert Downey Jr. will portray Doctor Doom in Doomsday, marking his return to the franchise. Both films aim to conclude the Multiverse Saga with grand storytelling reminiscent of previous Avengers blockbusters.
