New Game Looks Like Cyberpunk Meets Tomb Raider – But Is It Real?

A new trailer for an upcoming game called The Grass of Genesis is catching attention for its mix of Cyberpunk 2077 visuals and Tomb Raider-style action. But despite the excitement, there’s almost no clear information about the game’s release or even its full development status.

The Grass of Genesis is a third-person shooter from a developer called Well-Link, a company mostly known for cloud rendering services. They previously helped with cloud versions of Tower of Fantasy and Genshin Impact. However, this seems to be their first game developed fully in-house.

The latest trailer has impressive graphics and shows off some gameplay, but it appears to be a reworked version of a demo shown back in 2022 under the name “Chuncao demo.” Many viewers think it could just be a tech showcase rather than a finished game.

Several websites list a 2025 release date, but there is no official statement from Well-Link confirming that. The lack of clear updates since 2023 adds to doubts about whether the game will really come out this year. Some think the confusion may come from translation issues.

While the game looks promising, there’s still a big question mark around its actual launch. Fans are excited but cautious, and many suggest waiting for official news before getting too hopeful.
