After skipping 2024, Netflix TUDUM is officially returning in May 2025 as a live event in Los Angeles. Fans can expect exclusive first looks, celebrity appearances, and major announcements.
First launched in 2020, TUDUM is Netflix’s global fan event showcasing upcoming movies and series. It started as an in-person event in Brazil, then shifted to digital-only in 2021 and 2022.
In 2023, it returned as a massive live event in São Paulo, with over 25,000 attendees and a worldwide livestream.
After its absence in 2024, speculation grew about whether Netflix was shifting to a bi-annual model similar to Disney’s D23 Expo. However, Netflix has now confirmed its return in 2025.
Netflix’s chief content officer announced that TUDUM 2025 will take place on May 31st at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
The event will be livestreamed globally on Netflix, and likely on YouTube, X, and Facebook.
Netflix’s Geeked Week, which focuses on sci-fi, fantasy, and gaming-related content, may be combined with TUDUM in 2025.
Traditionally, Geeked Week has taken place months apart, but Netflix is now considering merging them.
Shelly Gillyard, Netflix’s VP of U.S. and Canada series marketing, hinted at the possibility, saying, “Are there ways in which we could potentially combine the events? We’re still talking about that.”
TUDUM has previously featured big announcements, including updates on hits like Stranger Things, The Witcher, and Squid Game.
With the 2025 lineup still under wraps, fans can expect more exclusive reveals and surprise appearances.
