    Netflix Reveals 2025 Korean Lineup – ‘Squid Game 3,’ ‘Physical: Asia,’ and More

    Netflix has announced its 2025 Korean lineup, featuring a mix of dramas, variety shows, and movies. The highlight is the return of ‘Squid Game’ Season 3, set to premiere on June 27.

    At the Next of Netflix 2025 Korea event, held in Seoul, Netflix revealed its upcoming seven movies, 11 series, and seven variety shows produced in Korea.

    New Variety Shows & Star Appearances

    Netflix is expanding its entertainment lineup, including:

    • ‘Physical: 100’ Returns as ‘Physical: Asia’ – This season will feature teams from different Asian countries competing against each other. Boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will represent the Philippines.
    • ‘Culinary Class Wars’ Season 2 – The hit cooking competition show is back, with over 1,000 chefs applying to join.
    • Na Young-seok’s New Variety Show – The famous producer is working on an original Netflix show, set to release in late 2025.

    Upcoming Korean Dramas

    • ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ – A new series starring IU and Park Bo-gum, expected to be a major hit.
    • ‘Squid Game’ Season 3 – Fans can expect another thrilling season when it returns in June 2025.

    Korean Movies Coming to Netflix

    Netflix will release seven Korean movies in 2025, including:

    • ‘Revelations’ – Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, with Oscar-winner Alfonso Cuarón as a producer.
    • ‘Lost in Starlight’ – Netflix’s first Korean animated film, featuring Kim Tae-ri and Hong Kyung as voice actors.
    • ‘Mantis’ – A spin-off of the 2023 action film ‘Kill Boksoon’.
    • ‘The Great Flood’ – A new thriller starring Park Hae-soo (‘Squid Game’) and Kim Da-mi (‘Itaewon Class’).

    Netflix’s Strategy for Growth

    Netflix Korea’s Vice President Kang Dong-han said they aim to be the first choice for Korean viewers.

    The company is expanding partnerships with mobile carriers, broadcasters, and platforms to attract more subscribers.

    With big-budget dramas, hit reality shows, and star-studded movies, Netflix Korea is set to dominate streaming in 2025. Fans can look forward to a year full of exciting content!
