Netflix officially announced a third season of its hit Japanese series Alice in Borderland in September 2023.
Main actors Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya will return as Arisu and Usagi. The show’s original director, Shinsuke Sato, will continue to lead the project.
Season 2 ended with Arisu and Usagi returning to the real world with no memory of their time in the Borderlands. However, a mysterious Joker card appeared in the final scene, hinting at new challenges ahead.
Netflix promises the new season will be “an adrenaline-fueled rollercoaster ride” that explores themes of humanity and sacrifice. The streaming service has not yet announced a release date for season 3.
