Marvel Studios has officially confirmed six Disney+ projects set to release in 2026, continuing the expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) across both live-action and animated series.

Confirmed MCU Disney+ Projects for 2026

1. The Punisher

Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle (The Punisher) in a special presentation similar to Werewolf by Night. The story is expected to deliver an intense and emotional narrative, co-written by Bernthal and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green.

2. Wonder Man

The remaining episodes of Wonder Man will air in early 2026, following its December 2025 debut. The series follows Simon Williams, played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, as a stuntman and actor navigating the entertainment industry while discovering his superpowers.

3. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

The second season of Daredevil: Born Again will dive deeper into the conflict between Daredevil and Kingpin, who becomes New York’s mayor. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher will have a larger role in this season.

4. Vision Quest

The long-awaited WandaVision spin-off, Vision Quest, will follow the journey of White Vision as he attempts to regain his memories and identity. Paul Bettany will return as Vision, with James Spader reprising his role as Ultron.

5. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2

The animated series will return with its second season in 2026, with Marvel aiming to deliver a Spider-Man season every year.

6. X-Men ’97 Season 2

The revival of the beloved X-Men ’97 animated series will continue in 2026 with its second season. Despite behind-the-scenes changes, much of the original production team remains on board.

What’s Next for the MCU in 2026?

Alongside these Disney+ projects, Marvel Studios will release two major films in 2026: Avengers: Doomsday on May 1 and Spider-Man 4 on July 31. There are also rumors of additional movies, though their release dates have not been confirmed.

With the MCU’s future expanding across both streaming and cinema, fans can expect an action-packed year filled with returning heroes and new adventures.
