LISA, the BLACKPINK star, makes her acting debut in the upcoming third season of White Lotus. In a newly released teaser, she portrays a hotel staff member at the show’s Thailand location.
The teaser shows LISA in two contrasting roles: by day, she’s a professional, welcoming guests with a smile; by night, she transforms into a mysterious figure, dressed in traditional attire, with a smoldering look at an after-hours bonfire.
The new season features a stellar cast including Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, and Parker Posey.
The teaser hints at the season’s exploration of Thailand’s vibrant streets and nightlife, with a voice-over stating, “Everyone runs from pain towards pleasure, but they get there only to find more pain.”
LISA, who first revealed her casting in February, expressed her excitement and nervousness about her debut acting role in an interview with Elle, comparing the experience to shooting music videos. Fans can also look forward to LISA’s debut solo album, Alter Ego, due out on Feb. 28, 2024.
The third season of White Lotus will premiere on HBO and stream on Max on Feb. 16, 2024.
