MrBeast’s competitive game show Beast Games released its fifth episode on Amazon Prime Video, featuring rapper Lil Yachty as a special guest. The episode delivered both tension and humor as a contestant was eliminated in a high-stakes challenge.
The challenge required contestants to pick the correct box from a set, with the wrong choice leading to disqualification. Unfortunately, one participant made the wrong pick and was visibly upset upon realizing they were out of the competition.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, tried to comfort the contestant, saying, “I’m sorry. Brutal. You good?” He then invited the contestant to sit down and process the loss.
As the moment unfolded, Lil Yachty, sitting next to MrBeast, couldn’t hide his reaction. Holding back laughter, he said:
“Dang, dog, this is so crazy, because you just like, you almost didn’t even pick two [the box number]. Dang!”

The contestant’s elimination meant they lost their chance at the $5 million grand prize. The intense pressure of the challenges has been a hallmark of Beast Games, which has been compared to Netflix’s Squid Game.
Lil Yachty’s presence added a lighthearted element to the episode. One contestant remarked on the surreal nature of the situation:
“That was also really wild that Lil Yachty was standing right next to me as I was having basically a mental breakdown. Life is weird, but hey, I’m having fun.”
