LiAngelo Ball, also known as Gelo, and his girlfriend Rashida Nicole have announced they are expecting a baby.
The news was first reported by TMZ on June 26, 2025. This will be Gelo’s third child, as he already has two children from a previous relationship with reality star Miss Nikki Baby.
Gelo and Rashida’s relationship became public after his split from Nikki Baby earlier this year. The couple has made headlines for their outings, including a recent date night in Las Vegas where Gelo gifted Rashida a custom G-Wagon. Rashida also hinted that they might have secretly married through a subtle Instagram comment in May.
While Gelo’s personal life grows, his music career is also on the rise. He is set to release his debut album, League of My Own, on July 18 through Def Jam Recordings. Over the past year, he has released singles like “Twerkers,” “Law N’ Order,” and “Booted Up,” and collaborated with artists like Lil Wayne and GloRilla.
Gelo’s brothers, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball, are well-known NBA players, and their father, Lavar Ball, runs the Big Baller Brand. The Ball family remains a popular name in both basketball and entertainment.
