LeBron James is drawing attention online after reportedly liking an Instagram post about Future’s cryptic response to Drake’s new track “What Did I Miss?” The interaction has added fuel to the ongoing speculation that the NBA star may have distanced himself from Drake amid the rapper’s fallout with several former allies.

Drake’s latest single, released on July 4, features pointed lyrics aimed at unnamed “traitors” and former friends who he claims sided against him during his public feud with Kendrick Lamar. Though Drake doesn’t name names, many fans believe the song includes subtle jabs at both Future and LeBron James.

Shortly after the track dropped, Future posted a vague tweet: “Ima always choose being a real one over anything…” DJ Akademiks later shared a screenshot on Instagram showing that LeBron had allegedly liked a post by Complex covering that very tweet. This sparked further theories that both Future and LeBron were responding—directly or indirectly—to the perceived shots from Drake.

Fans have also pointed to Drake’s lyric referencing Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out concert in 2024 as a possible nod to celebrities, including LeBron, who were present at the event. While these interpretations remain speculative, they have reignited conversations about shifting allegiances in the hip-hop world and Drake’s inner circle.

Drake has not confirmed whether any specific individuals were targeted in the song. Still, the responses from Future and the alleged social media activity from LeBron have intensified the public discourse.

As the fallout from “What Did I Miss?” continues to unfold, fans are closely monitoring social media for further signs of who may—and may not—still stand with the 6 God.
