Floyd Mayweather could be eyeing a 2025 exhibition match against KSI, the popular YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Mayweather, who has stayed active in exhibitions after retiring, has expressed interest in facing KSI, especially if the financial offer is substantial.
Jeff Mayweather, Floyd’s uncle, recently hinted at the possibility, stating, “Somebody’s gotta make noise for the exhibition to take place.”
He also noted that Floyd is still in top shape, regularly training and running, and remains confident no YouTube fighter can defeat him, including KSI.
The rivalry between Mayweather and KSI dates back to 2022 when Floyd easily defeated KSI’s younger brother, Deji. This fueled KSI’s desire to avenge his brother’s loss.
Floyd’s last exhibition was against John Gotti III in August 2024, while KSI hasn’t fought since his loss to Tommy Fury in October 2023.
Despite the distance between them, a massive purse could convince both fighters to step into the ring in 2025.
Negotiations with Saudi Arabia for a potential exhibition in Riyadh could also play a role in making this fight happen.
