The 2026 Sidemen Charity Match delivered 20 goals, a penalty shootout, and another YouTube Allstars title — all in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley.
The seventh edition of the Sidemen Charity Match took place on Saturday, 18 April 2026 at Wembley Stadium, London. The sold-out crowd of 90,000 fans watched one of the most chaotic and entertaining editions of the annual influencer football event.
A Record-Breaking Score
The match ended 10–10 after extra time — the highest-scoring game in the event’s history. YouTube Allstars then won the penalty shootout 4–1 to defend their title. Last year’s match also ended in a 9–9 draw, with the Allstars winning that shootout 5–4. This time, they did it again with even more goals and more drama.
The Big Twist: Sidemen Split
This year had a notable twist — KSI, Miniminter (Simon), and Behzinga (Ethan) all joined the YouTube Allstars, meaning the core Sidemen group was split across both teams for the first time. Inkl Jack Joseph managed Sidemen FC, while Calfreezy managed the Allstars.
Sidemen FC featured Vikkstar123, Tobi (TBJZL), Zerkaa, W2S, Deji, xQc in goal, Niko Omilana, Jynxzi, LazarBeam, and others. The Allstars had KSI, Simon, Ethan, AngryGinge, Sketch in goal, MrWhoseTheBoss, Ibai, Max Fosh, CarryMinati, Squeezie, and more.
What Happened on the Pitch
Eight goals came in the first half alone, with the score level at the break. AngryGinge headed home the opening goal. ItalianBach pulled off an outrageous turn before firing low to score. Jynxzi finished from close range. Miniminter scored twice in the first half. Niko Omilana had a goal controversially ruled out for offside — replays showed he was onside.
The second half brought more of the same, with end-to-end goals and zero defensive shape. The game went to extra time, stayed level at 10–10, and then went to penalties. MrWhoseTheBoss scored the decisive spot-kick to seal the win for the Allstars.
Halftime Show and Atmosphere
Tinie Tempah performed “Written in the Stars” at halftime, giving the packed Wembley crowd a nostalgia moment. The match was broadcast free on the Sidemen’s YouTube channel, with Spencer Owen and Stephen Tries on commentary.
Charity
The match raised funds for youth education charities, including Bright Side and M7 Education — continuing the event’s tradition of mixing entertainment with a serious cause. Since 2016, these matches have raised millions of pounds for charity.
