This Character Joins the DCU in Creature Commandos Finale

Creature Commandos — MAX

In a surprising twist, the Creature Commandos finale introduces King Shark, bringing yet another DCEU character into the new DC Universe.

This marks a continuation of the crossover trend, linking James Gunn’s previous DCEU projects with the new DCU.

Key Characters in the Finale

By the end of the season, only The Bride, Weasel, and Dr. Phosphorus survive the assassination mission.

The team is then reformed, with GI Robot making a surprise return, alongside Khalis, a revived mummy, and Nosferata, a vampire. These additions are all familiar from the comics.

King Shark’s Role

King Shark, voiced by Diedrich Bader (not Sylvester Stallone as in The Suicide Squad), joins the team in the finale.

His inclusion blurs the lines between the older DCEU films and the evolving DCU, continuing the trend of incorporating characters from Peacemaker and The Suicide Squad into the new universe.

The Future of DCEU Characters

While Weasel and King Shark are confirmed to remain in the DCU, questions linger about other DCEU characters like Bloodsport and Harley Quinn.

Margot Robbie’s portrayal of Harley seems to be moving on, but her character may remain canon in the DCU, with the possibility of another actress taking on the role in the future.

For now, fans can celebrate King Shark’s return to the DC Universe!
