The hit Japanese sci-fi thriller Alice in Borderland is officially returning for a third season in September 2025, Netflix has confirmed.

The exact release date is yet to be announced, but the streaming platform hinted at the show’s return with a cryptic message on X (formerly Twitter): “Wahi bachega, jo-ker dikhaega” — meaning “Only the one who shows the joker will survive.”

This teaser refers to the mysterious Joker card shown at the end of Season 2, suggesting that the upcoming season will explore its meaning in greater depth.

    Global Release Expected on Netflix

Season 3 will stream exclusively on Netflix, just like the previous two seasons. The platform is expected to release the new season globally at the same time. Fans who want to catch up can rewatch Seasons 1 and 2, which are currently available for streaming.

What Is Alice in Borderland About?

The series follows Arisu, a young man who finds himself in a twisted version of Tokyo where survival depends on winning dangerous games, each based on a playing card. The show blends intense action with psychological drama, exploring themes such as friendship, sacrifice, and the human will to survive.

Season 3 is expected to dive deeper into the story’s core mysteries and introduce even more high-stakes challenges for the characters.
