James Gunn’s DC reboot is bringing several famous Arrowverse heroes back—but in new versions.

The Arrowverse, which aired on The CW for over a decade, introduced popular characters like Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. Now, these heroes will return with fresh stories in Gunn’s DC Universe (DCU).

Here are the 7 Arrowverse heroes confirmed for the DCU:

    1. Superman — David Corenswet will play the new Superman in the DCU. He replaces Tyler Hoechlin’s version from the Arrowverse. Superman will now be a major focus in Gunn’s new movies.

    2. Hawkgirl — Hawkgirl first appeared in the Arrowverse, but the DCU will give her a bigger role. Isabel Merced will play her, and she will fight alongside other heroes in the Justice Gang.

    3. Mr. Terrific — In the Arrowverse, Mr. Terrific helped Green Arrow on his missions. In the DCU, Edi Gathegi will play him, showing off his genius skills in solving tough problems.

    4. Supergirl — Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl was one of the Arrowverse’s main heroes. Now, Milly Alcock will take on the role in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, set mostly in space.

    5. Vigilante — The DCU’s Vigilante, played by Freddie Stroma, is more humorous than the Arrowverse version. He will return in Peacemaker Season 2.

    6. Batman — Batman only appeared briefly in the Arrowverse. The DCU plans to give him a bigger role with his own movie, The Brave and the Bold.

    7. Booster Gold — The Arrowverse introduced Booster Gold in Legends of Tomorrow, but the show ended quickly. Now, Booster Gold will finally get his own DCU series.

Bonus: Kid Flash — Wally West’s Kid Flash appeared in The Flash on The CW. He has not yet joined the DCU officially, but he was seen in a future vision in Creature Commandos.

With these new versions of popular heroes, James Gunn’s DC Universe is preparing to build an exciting future for DC fans worldwide.
