The popular underwater survival game Subnautica is officially coming to mobile. Developer Playdigious announced that the game will launch on iOS and Android on July 8, 2025, with a 10% launch discount available for early buyers.

Originally released in 2014 by Unknown Worlds, Subnautica has become a fan favorite in the survival and exploration genre. The mobile version, developed by the team behind mobile ports of Dead Cells and Northgard, will include all content from the original release with no cuts.

Set on the alien ocean planet 4546B, Subnautica challenges players to explore the depths, gather resources, build underwater bases, and survive against environmental threats while uncovering a sci-fi mystery.

The mobile port will support Survival, Creative, and Freedom modes and feature reworked touchscreen controls, an optimized interface, and adjustable HUD options for both phones and tablets.

The mobile game will be priced at $9.99, but users who pre-order on the App Store or pre-register on Google Play will get it at a discounted price of $8.99 at launch.
