Tom Holland will return as Spider-Man in the new film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set for release on July 31, 2026.
Speaking about the role, Holland said, “Putting the suit on… it feels different this time. I’m just going to do my best. Hopefully get it right. No pressure.”
Sony Pictures has shared official images of Holland in a new, comic-accurate Spider-Man suit. The design features brighter red and blue colors, raised webbing, and a larger spider logo on the chest.
Filming began in August 2025 in Glasgow, Scotland, where Holland was seen performing stunts.
The movie, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, takes place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, when the world forgot Peter Parker’s identity.
The cast includes Zendaya as MJ, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk. Sadie Sink will also appear in a role that has not yet been revealed.
Fans are looking forward to a mix of action and emotional storytelling.
