Marvel Studios has shared new promotional artwork for the upcoming animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The new art gives fans a first look at several important characters in the show, including Daredevil, voiced by Charlie Cox, and Doctor Strange.
The artwork also reveals villains like Doctor Octopus, Scorpion, and a possible new version of Pyro. Two mysterious female characters are also featured, with one possibly being Screwball.
Fans will also see Spider-Man in various outfits, including his classic red and blue suit, his homemade costume, and a white Future Foundation-inspired suit, which is rumored to be the Oscorp suit.
The show will explore Peter Parkerโs journey to becoming a hero. It will focus on his high school years, showing his struggles to balance being a superhero while taking care of his aunt. Norman Osborn (voiced by Colman Domingo) will start as Peterโs mentor before eventually becoming the Green Goblin.
The 10-episode series is set to stream on Disney+. The voice cast includes Hudson Thames as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Eugene Byrd as Lonnie Lincoln, Grace Song as Nico Minoru, Zeno Robinson as Harry Osborn, and Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius.
Brad Winderbaum, Head of Streaming at Marvel Studios, praised the show, saying it captures the essence of Spider-Manโs early comic book days. He also mentioned that the characters and relationships in the series will create a powerful emotional journey for viewers.
