Streamer Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has responded strongly to a social media post accusing him of inappropriate behaviour involving a minor.
Beahm, a former Call of Duty developer and prominent Twitch streamer, was banned from the platform in 2020 under unclear circumstances. Reports have suggested that the ban related to messages exchanged with a minor, but Twitch and Beahm have denied any illegal conduct.
In a recent post on X, Beahm replied to a comment alleging he “tried to sleep with an underage girl,” writing: “Who said that? Wasn’t me you brainwashed f***ing idiot. You should hide your depression better… It’s way too obvious.”
Beahm has previously acknowledged exchanging messages with a minor in 2017 but stated that the interactions were “casual, mutual conversations” that “sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more.” No criminal charges were filed, and a settlement with Twitch over his ban was reached in 2022.
Beahm resumed streaming on YouTube in 2024 and later joined the platform Rumble as head and advisor of its gaming category. Despite the settlement, allegations and speculation continue to circulate on social media.
