No Marvel, No Star Wars Content Arriving on Disney+ This February — Full List

February 2026 will be a slow month for Disney+ subscribers, especially fans of Marvel and Star Wars. According to Disney+’s official February schedule, the platform has very few new original releases planned, making it a clear rewatch-heavy period.

After a strong start to the year, Disney+ appears to be taking a pause before its bigger spring releases arrive.

What Disney+ Is Not Releasing in February

Disney+ subscribers will notice the absence of content from its biggest franchises:

    • ❌ No new Marvel Studios series
    • ❌ No new Star Wars live-action or animated shows
    • ❌ No major Disney+ original movie releases
    • ❌ No franchise-driven weekly episode drops

This marks one of the quietest months for the platform in recent years.

New Content Arriving on Disney+ in February 2026

Despite the slow schedule, a few notable titles are still set to release:

    • February 4 – The Muppet Show: 50th Anniversary Special
      • Celebrates 50 years of the iconic franchise
      • Executive-produced by Seth Rogen
      • Features a crossover with pop star Sabrina Carpenter
    • February 10 – The Artful Dodger Season 2
      • Hulu original available via Disney+
      • Eight new episodes
      • Historical heist series inspired by Oliver Twist
    • February 13 – Phineas and Ferb: Cartoonified (New Short)
      • Guest appearance by LeBron James
      • Part of the ongoing short-form spin-off series

Why Disney+ Is Slowing Down Releases

Disney has not given an official reason for February’s limited lineup, but several factors may explain the decision:

    • Wonder Man premieres at the end of January
    • Daredevil: Born Again arrives in March
    • Marvel Studios is reducing output to avoid audience fatigue
    • Lucasfilm continues to space out Star Wars releases to protect the brand

Both studios have previously stated that fewer releases help build anticipation and maintain franchise value.

    What’s Coming After February

While February may feel quiet, Disney+ has a busy schedule later in 2026.

    Upcoming Marvel Projects:

    • Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 (March)
    • X-Men ’97 Season 2
    • Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2
    • VisionQuest
    • The Punisher Disney+ Special

    Upcoming Star Wars Projects:

    • Ahsoka Season 2
    • Maul: Shadow Lord (animated)
    • Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi

Release dates for many of these titles have not yet been announced.

February 2026 may test the patience of Disney+ subscribers, but the slowdown appears intentional. With major Marvel and Star Wars projects lined up for later in the year, the platform seems to be using February as a reset before ramping things back up.

For now, it’s a month for catching up, rewatching favorites, and waiting for what’s next.
