Marvel fans can breathe a sigh of relief — Daredevil: Born Again is officially returning for a second season, and it’s coming sooner than expected.
Despite long gaps between earlier series entries, Marvel Studios has confirmed that the new season is already in production and will premiere in early 2026.
Filming for season 2 began in March 2025, after production delays caused by the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Marvel decided to make major changes to the show, rewriting and reshooting parts of the original plan. What was first pitched as an 18-episode limited series has now evolved into an ongoing show.
Fans can expect the return of familiar faces, including Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen.
Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye and Elden Henson’s Foggy will also appear. Foggy’s return is especially surprising, as the character was believed to be dead — leading to speculation about flashbacks, visions, or even supernatural events.
While season 2’s full plot is still under wraps, it will likely pick up where season 1 ended, with Matt Murdock rallying allies to stand against Kingpin’s growing political and criminal power.
The story seems to be inspired by recent comic arcs, where Fisk becomes mayor and pushes dangerous laws. The show may focus on Daredevil stopping these plans rather than removing Fisk from office entirely.
Marvel has not confirmed a third season yet, but hints suggest that more Daredevil stories are on the way. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is also getting a solo special in 2026, which may connect to Daredevil’s world.
For now, fans can look forward to Daredevil: Born Again season 2 arriving in early 2026 on Disney Plus.
