Coca-Cola has chosen BTS member V as its newest brand ambassador.

The company made the announcement on Thursday, saying that V’s strong stage presence and stylish image match Coca-Cola’s bold and fun identity.

“V brings a powerful energy on stage and an effortlessly trendy charm offstage,” said a Coca-Cola spokesperson. “He’s a perfect match for the spirit of Coca-Cola — bold, free, and magnetic.”

V will appear in the company’s upcoming Best Coke Ever campaign, promoting Coca-Cola Zero. A teaser video will launch today on Coca-Cola’s YouTube and Instagram accounts. A full ad campaign will follow soon.

V said he’s excited about the partnership. “I’m really happy to team up with a brand I’ve always loved. Through the campaign, I’m excited to share the refreshing thrill of Coca-Cola Zero in a whole new way.”

With BTS’ huge global fanbase and Coca-Cola’s worldwide reach, the campaign is expected to gain major attention around the world.
