Singer Cheon Rok-dam, formerly known as Lee Jung, has announced his farewell to Instagram as he shifts his focus to a new chapter in his career.

On October 22, Cheon Rok-dam shared what he described as his final Instagram post, thanking fans for their support over the years.

He wrote, “Hello everyone! This is (former) Lee Jung, (current) Rok-dam, working hard to enjoy the short autumn weather. This post today might be my last on Instagram. From now on, I will focus only on my YouTube channel, Cheon Rok-dam’s Milestone.”

The singer explained that he plans to concentrate his communication on YouTube rather than spreading his attention across multiple platforms. He added, “I want to focus on one place and approach it more carefully and sincerely.”

Before signing off, Cheon Rok-dam expressed heartfelt gratitude to his followers. “I sincerely thank everyone who has supported and encouraged me on Instagram. Please visit my YouTube channel when you have time. Take care of your health, and don’t catch a cold as it gets colder. I’ll see you again somewhere. Thank you.”

Cheon Rok-dam, who rose to fame as an R&B artist, reintroduced himself to audiences last year on “Mr. Trot 3”, surprising viewers with his transformation into a trot singer. He explained that his stage name symbolizes his wish to “fill the world of trot with songs stretching from Baekdu Mountain’s Cheonji to Hallasan’s Baekrok-dam.”

After finishing third place on Mr. Trot 3, Cheon Rok-dam has continued building his career in the trot music scene, showing a strong commitment to his new musical path.
