CBS is kicking off January 2026 with a mix of award show specials, game show returns, and the launch of a new true-crime series, while its major scripted dramas like NCIS and FBI remain on hiatus until late February.

Primetime Specials & Major Events

  • Jan. 8 (8 PM): Golden Eve — A one-hour tribute to Helen Mirren (Cecil B. DeMille Award) and Sarah Jessica Parker (Carol Burnett Award).
  • Jan. 11 (8 PM): The 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards — Hosted by Nikki Glaser, airing live from Beverly Hills.
  • Jan. 30 (8 PM): Inside the 68th Annual Grammy Awards — A preview of the upcoming ceremony airing Feb. 1.
