BTS member RM (Kim Namjoon) has been officially appointed as the global ambassador for Samsung Electronics’ Art TV collection. This marks one of his first major projects following his recent return from mandatory military service.
RM is well-known for his love of art, regularly sharing his visits to museums and his personal art collection with fans. As Samsung’s new ambassador, he will use his passion for visual art to help connect Samsung Art TV users worldwide with great works of art.
Samsung Art TVs are designed to blend advanced technology with artistic expression. They work with the Samsung Art Store, which offers over 3,500 high-resolution artworks in 4K. As part of his role, RM will provide personal reflections and commentary on selected pieces, giving fans a closer look at his artistic taste and ideas.
RM shared his excitement about the partnership, saying he hopes to help more people discover and enjoy art in their everyday lives. His appointment also fits Samsung’s goal of making art more accessible through technology.
RM is also set to appear at Art Basel in Switzerland, where he will host a special talk about art collecting and visual storytelling.
